• Organize and monitor the order lines, food safety and hygiene, especially in relation to the food order.
• Organize and motivate kitchen team to deliver smooth cooking workplace so that the satisfaction of guest can be assured.

People / Communication

• An active link between the kitchen and service and to ensure good communication.
• File documents received (e.g. Suppliers orders, Instruction, Inspection, Memos and Report).
• Notify any repairs / Maintenance to Restaurant Manager.
• Make good order and enter correctly in the system and Stock Checklist.
• Giving inputs in planning work schedules for the restaurant independently each week and obtain all the most important information in advance.
• Cooperate with Restaurant Manager in checking time record for team members.

Food and Cost Management

• Prepare, cook food and be able to develop innovative ideas for new recipes.
• Instruct kitchen crew and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
• Responsible for approving all prepared food items that leave the kitchen.
• Able to spot problems and resolve them quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure that quality culinary dishes are served on schedule and ensure that any problems that arise are rectified.
• Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
• Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure compliance to established standards.

Planning and Administration

• Coordinate planning, budgeting, and purchasing for all the food items.
• Maximize the productivity of the kitchen team.
• Implement proper sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations required in the kitchen.
• Maintain good personal hygiene as well as high work and safety standards in the workplace.
• Suggest and create new menus as needed so that they remain effective for the business of the restaurant.
• Perform administrative duties, including ordering supplies and reporting to the Restaurant Manager / Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef of the outlet.
• Assist Kitchen Manager in the execution of his/her duties and takes over some of the routine tasks during his/her absence.
• Execute any other duties as requested by immediate superiors
• Specialise in Thai/ Asian/ Western Cuisine
• Computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• At least Professional Certificate in Culinary Arts or any related fields
• At least 1 year of experience in management of Kitchen Team, Food Cost and Food Quality control
• Able to work well in a team

Responsibility:

• Performed on site Wafer Fab Cleanroom machine installation, repairing, servicing and maintenance.
• Ensure all jobs are properly coordinated and completed within allocated time frame.
• To perform all works in accordance with the specified standards and qualities.
• Responsible for providing timely, professional and accurate information to customer’s technical service enquires at all times.
• To liaise with principal on unresolved technical problems, and ensure proper record are maintained.
• Data collection and compilation on site.
• Perform stand-by duty, able to work OT and shift.

Requirements:

• ITE / Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and great communication skills
• Good and positive working behaviour
• The prospective applicant will be required to work in North side.
• Having General IT experience will be preferred.

Scope of work

Reception Duties:

• Receiving visitors and render assistance to contractors/ vendors.

• Render assistance to walk-in pupils’ needs and simple non-life threatening first-aid support at the sickbay. To escalate to office staff immediately if it is beyond superficial cases.

• Handle situations when pupils vomit and soil their clothes, loan of uniforms, ad-hoc sewing of buttons on uniform, etc.

• Print and pass the Early Dismissal Form to parents.

Phone Call Duties:

• Handing phone calls on queries, feedbacks and requests.

• Taking messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate staff member in time.

Front Desk Admin Duties:

• Issue and collection of keys to staff/students/vendors.

• Manage incoming/outgoing mails and deliveries. (record, sort & distribute daily mail).

• Maintain resource files required for counter duty.

• Maintain the forms cabinet in the office. All forms must be current and to be replenished constantly.

• Operate office equipment like fax, photocopier, etc.

• Ad-hoc simple administrative duties that may be assigned by the school.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

a) 3 GCE ‘O’ Level passes or more, with a pass in English.

b) Preferably more than 2 years of experience in Administration.

c) Preferably with similar working experience in a school environment.

d) Preferably have a valid first-aid with CPR certification.

e) Experience in using MS Office Applications e.g. Excel, Word etc.

f) Communicate well in English.

g) Good interpersonal and customer service skills with patience and ability to remain calm during challenging situations.

h) Posses initative, good problem solving skills and ability to multitask during peak period.

i) Able to work independently as well as in a team with professional ethics.

Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 with an option to

extend the Contract for a further period of 1 year from 01 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 30mins lunchbreak

• Fridays: 7.00am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted publicholidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure efficient and compliant import processes.
• Monitor shipment statuses and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle and resolve any issues related to import shipments, including delays, damages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of import transactions, including shipment documentation, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Assist in preparing reports and analyzing data to improve import processes and performance.
• Support the Air Freight Import Manager in developing and implementing strategies to optimize operations and reduce costs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, warehousing, and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient import operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related industry.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding Air Freight operations (Import / Export).
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual and able to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts.
• Able to worked 5.5 days a week.
