We are seeking for an Assistant Manager to join the Procurement team. This role will be responsible for fulfilling the purchasing requirements of SembEnviro’s Energy from Waste Plant. Spend categories focus on Plant Maintenance, mainly mechanical and electrical. This role reports to Head, Procurement, SembWaste.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Business Partnering – Actively engaging business stakeholders, translate business requirements to sourcing strategies to deliver business requirements. Understand business priorities and guide stakeholders to propose and execute the operational strategies with consideration to risk mitigation and governance. Work with business stakeholders to provide support to drive compliance to Sembcorp policies.
• Sourcing & Contract Management – Perform Source to Contract process, lead and perform negotiations with suppliers. Leading RFx creation/management, market research/analysis, data collection/analysis, and contract management (cost, terms and conditions, SOWs, MSAs, etc.).
• Supplier Management – Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation and establish Preferred Supplier List jointly with business stakeholders by relationship management so as to deliver maximum productivity benefits.
• Cost management – Ability to analyze total cost of acquisitions/ ownership and provide optimum value to business. Deliver cost saving goals, delivering value beyond savings.

Qualifications & Experience:

Human Resource Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll regularly
• To ensure compliance of Employment Act and taxation policy.
• Handle all administrative duties relating to HR matters and claims.
• Manage work passes related issues such as application, renewal, cancellation etc.
• Responsible for application, renewal and maintaining licensing with various government bodies
• Assist in submission of CPF contributions, IR21, IR8A, levy claim applications, government surveys and other statutory submissions.
• Maintain and timely renew of Insurances, Security Bond and Insurance Claim Handling
• Maintain, up-to-date and filing records and profiles in the HR system and MOM portal.
• Maintain and verify timesheets, attendance and leaves balance for all staff

Accounting Roles & Responsibilities:

· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

JOB SCOPE

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will assist in ensuring the smooth running of the housekeeping, laundry and maintenance operations. The incumbent will be responsible for developing housekeeping procedures and training and development of staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Conduct inspection on rooms and public areas to ensure that the standard of cleanliness and maintenance is up to the required standards.

2. Plan manpower requirements according to hotel occupancy including daily allotment and overtime requirements.

3. Supervise staff with special emphasis placed upon delegation of authority and responsibility to the Assistant Housekeeper and Floor Supervisors.

4. Liaise with Front Office on room occupancy forecast so as to plan for sufficient manpower.

5. Plan spring cleaning to be carried out during off peak period when necessary.

6. Manage and maintain housekeeping supplies, including linen and staff uniforms, cleaning supplies and any others housekeeping assets.

7. Assist in sourcing and procuring the required housekeeping items. Ensuring there is sufficient supplies for operations usage.

8. Coordinate with laundry contractors on pest control, landscaping maintenance,

rental of plants and floral arrangement displays.
