Job Description

1.Preparing food ingredients and setting up the kitchens ready for FCE cooking lessons. May be required to use basic kitchen appliances.

2.Keeping kitchen utensils, furniture and equipment such as fridge, oven and cooker cleaned and ready-to-use.

3.Keeping kitchens and food preparation counters/floor/rooms clean and ready-to-use.

4.Assist with ad-hoc tasks.

• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of Singapore office, working closely with the Finance Manager.
• Supervise and control activities of Accounting Shared Service Centre (“SSC”) – month-end and year-end closing process, accounts payable/receivable, general ledgers, expenditures variance analysis, intercompany account reconciliations
• Assist in analyses monthly financial results to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Business partner with other line of businesses (“LOBs”)/departments on Singapore related matters. Also, to act as the key point of contact between LOBs and SSC.
• Assist in the cash management, treasury function and preparation of cash flow forecasts. Custodian of petty cash and cheque book.
• Prepare & check incentive schedules for Moving and Relocation.
• Ensure Balance sheet records are up to date and accurate by conducting review and analysis on monthly basis.
• Take charge of annual physical stock-taking, inventory valuation and fixed assets accounting activity
• Review/prepare schedules and documents as required for statutory audit, coordinate and complete annual audits and taxes filing.
• Liaise with auditors, company secretary, tax consultants, bankers and other professionals regarding corporate regulations, tax, and banking matters to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Regularly review and enhance accounting workflow, accounting policies & procedures and internal control. Provide support to system upgrade.
• Assist in annual budget preparation by working closely with other LOBs. Monitor budget that has been set whilst continuously review and propose cost savings.
• Assist in South Asia Cluster and Singapore routine reporting, ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Education, Qualifications and Work Experience

• A Professional Accounting Qualification e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years full set accounting/financial reporting experience/shared-function experience

(a) Prepare the necessary apparatus and materials needed by the Science teachers before lessons; (b) Labelling and grouping of items for easy access, turn on necessary IT equipment before teacher is in the class; (c) Assisting teachers in supervision of students during lab work; (d) Maintaining the equipment and apparatus in the Science Rooms; (e) Maintaining the cleanliness of the Science Rooms; (f) Updating inventory list, identifying and condemning items which are not of working conditions; (g) Collating necessary materials to be purchased and liaising with the teachers; (h) Helping teachers to buy perishable items for Science experiments; (i) Assisting Science teachers in carrying out Science events, registration and collection of forms (if any); (j) Helping Head of Department (Science)’s work in the afternoons eg. collation of survey results, typing of simple forms, any other administrative duties as required; (k) Assisting as a safety chaperon e.g. during daily arrival and dismissal of students, chaperon to students going on external Learning Journeys, supervise students during recess play etc. (l) Assisting with any other assigned duties. What the role involves:

• Performs receiving, breaking shipment bulks, packing, storing in the warehouse
• Distribute/transport raw materials for outbound shipping and inbound to be sent to various production floor/rooms
• Stuffing and Un-stuffing in and out of truck/container using Pallet jack
• To crate and uncrate shipments according to operating procedures and safety measures and update status on crating progress daily
• To support on cycle and physical count when required
• Ensure cleanliness / safety in the warehouse at all time
• Disposing of pallets / empty cartons according to defined disposal methods
• Operating of warehouse equipment such as pallet jet and ensure the equipment is well maintained at all time
• Performs other job related functions as and when required by superior

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the property.
• Monitor day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations.
• Involve in ad-hoc project management and to undertake feasibility studies.
• Responsible for the setting up of SOP and to achieve KPIs.
• Responsible for annual budget preparation, planning and controlling of operating expenses and improvement/maintenance works.
• Supervise the front office, operations, housekeepers, security and maintenance staff and to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Review processes and workflow to maximize tenant's satisfaction.
• Handle tenant’s complaints, maintain a record of feedback and take remedial actions to resolve issues.
• Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with all landlords, tenants, vendors and contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties and perform preventive maintenance to keep the property functioning in good condition.
• Ensure compliance of safety & building regulations and all other statutory requirements.
• Be part of the CERT team and assist in the coordination of drills, exercises and trainings to ensure it is carried out as per schedule.
• Perform any ad-hoc task as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Hospitality, Business, Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in the Hospitality (specifically in Rooms) or Property Management industry.
