Supervisors and general foremen in building and related trades supervise activities of a distinct unit at a construction site, control and coordinate the activities of workers who are engaged in various occupations.

Tasks include:

• Interpreting specifications and job orders
• Determining sequence of operations and use of equipment
• Estimating manpower requirements
• Assigning duties to workers
• Analysing and resolving work problems
• Coordinating the work of one or more units with other units
• Recommending or initiating personnel action
• Supervising co-workers and helping them in their work
• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work programme
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works

Requirements and skills

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and secure new customer accounts and explore new business opportunities.
• Detect sales shortfalls and collaborate with the manager to develop strategies to address these gaps.

• Consults with clients/customers and determines restaurant options based on the client’s needs.
• Prepares required catering forms, completing meticulous tasks and negotiating pricing.

• Restuarant managers are responsible to hire, train, and supervise the reatuarant staff. This is inclusive of schedule organization and ensuring proper event staffing.

• The manager facilitates the arrangements of seating, the serving of food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness of tables.
• Restaurant expenses, and accurate records will be kept and organized by the restaurant manager.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.
