The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of CPHRI’s various programmes and support the operations of the centre. You will also support the conceptualisation of research and prepare grant proposals. You will work with the planning team to support the development of EGH. You will support the implementation of the operational models in line with the development of hospital services and care models and ensure that it is in accordance with the budget and guidelines. You will also develop end-user briefs, operations requirements, guidelines and work processes, organise workshops for user requirements gathering and test new models both virtually and on physical prototypes in the EGH Healthcare Living Lab. You will also support the operational readiness, activation and transition (ORAT) plan of the hospital, attain the required compliance and licenses for the operations to commence, and facilitate meeting coordination with the various stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in health-care related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience

You will work with the Nursing Lead to organise, drive and coordinate the development of the nursing care models and services, and ensure nursing development work plans are aligned with the other clinical departments and the hospital’s objectives. You will provide secretariat services for workgroups organised in support of these activities as well as work with the Nursing Lead to coordinate nursing manpower planning and nesting strategies for EGH.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Hospital Planning and Clinical Services Senior/Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the planning and establishment of a new hospital, overseeing the management of designated clinical services throughout the entire care continuum.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

1. Maintain good understanding of daily operations of the clinic.
2. Lead the strategic planning and setup of a new hospital facility, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and healthcare standards.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics, resource allocation, and timelines for the successful launch of the new hospital.
4. Manage project budget with tracking and reporting of variances.

Requirements

Your responsibilities include developing plans for the research and evaluation of person-centred initiatives, alongside coordinating and conducting studies to support the department’s initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in the recruitment and training of patients, caregivers and residents, as well as designing and collaborating on person-centred research projects with various institutes and departments. Additionally, supporting activities related to publications in media and professional journals will be a part of your remit.

You will provide technical guidance and research support in the domain of analytics and programme evaluation for events, training workshops, projects, and other initiatives. This involves participating in fieldwork and data collection for research projects as necessary, ensuring that all research studies comply with established protocols, documentation, and ethical standards.
