A radiographer is responsible for the providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to the patient, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

· Assist senior, principal radiographers and/or supervisor in managing the daily operations and provide clinicians with timely and reliable diagnostic imaging results.

· Observe strict NUHS personal data protection act and observe internet/intranet cybersecurity guidelines.

· Assist supervisors in evaluation of new imaging protocols or services.

Job Purpose

Requirements

Diagnostic Radiographers

Diagnostic radiographers work with sophisticated medical equipment and use a wide range of techniques to produce radiographic images of the human body to aid the healthcare team in diagnosing illness or injury. They manage the technology to produce, display, manipulate, transmit and archive radiographic images. The image data is processed using high-end systems to produce complex multi-planar and 3D reconstructions. • Maintain statistics on workload as needed by the Department and Hospital

Education, Training and Experience

• Recognized Degree in Physiotherapy
