I. JOB DESCRIPTIONS
· Create Contract for physical trading activities for metals/coal/other commodities products following both standard and non-standard templates
· Liaise with different departments including Risk, Trading, Operations and legal counsel for Contract review to ensure proper terms (commercial, financial, and logistics) are documented in Contract
· Performing matching between Contract with other documents (Confirmation email, System, email recap) and Contract Checklist
· Issue Contract Addendum/Termination Letter when and where required
· Ensure Contract is appropriately signed and filed in the system and hard-copy filings
· Maintain up-to-date Contract inputs in internal database and system
· Prepare and send daily contract status report
· Perform KYC and AML process to onboard new counterparties using applicable tools and systems
· Prepare and consolidate KYC documents
· Register and maintain counterparties record in internal database and system
· Liaise with different stakeholders (Traders, Legal Counsel) during the KYC check
· Prepare any other documents required for trade (pledge/collateral, etc.)
· Prepare report for Company Management and Shareholders for Contract/Legal issues
II. REQUIREMENTS
A. Knowledge
· General understanding contract requirements
· General understanding of logistics i.e., INCOTERMS, UCP600
· General knowledge on financial terms
· Good understanding of Commodity Trading industry
B. SKILLS
· Strong critical thinking
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Paralegal experience a plus
· Strong written English
