You will assist the Accountant by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, data-entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Provide support to the Accountant in areas such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, taxation, fixed assets, and preparation of financial statements.
▪ Carry out basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, and phone and email correspondences.
▪ Process invoices and staff claims for payment.
▪ Maintain accurate and detailed supplier/customer accounts and records.
▪ Assist in the preparation of period-end closing and bank reconciliation.
▪ Participate in audits.
▪ Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
▪ Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel.
▪ Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
▪ Strong attention to details.
