Jobs scope:

• Monitor ship schedules before arrival and discharge at port.
• Keep charterers and owners advised on requirements pertaining to the fixtures such as voyage order, stowage, cargo quantity and cargo grades.
• Ensure relevant documents are available at various stages of operations.
• Serve the relevant delivery and re-delivery notices for ships.
• Send hire/freight invoices to charterers and follow up on timely receipt of payments.
• Liaise with clients on resolution processes for post-fixture issues.
• Perform processing and invoicing of hire payments, including bunker calculations, deductions and off-hire time and bunkers and other deductions.
• Oversee claims, billings and invoice processing
• Assist in negotiation of laytime disputes.
• Handle laytime calculations.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Maritime or Logistics is required
• Must have at least 1-2 years relevant experience in maritime industry
• Able to work beyond office hours, have to standby 24/7

Market Support Assistant / Sales Support Assistant

5.5 days, 9am-6pm, 9am-1pm (Sat) + Standby duty at least once a month

Salary: $2400 -$2800 + OT on standby duty

Primary Function:

To provide general sales support services in meeting all deadlines and undertaking all administrative work of the department with professionalism.

Job scope:

• To handle inquiries and ensure quotations are furnished to customers on time.
• Processing of orders within the dateline and consolidate customer’s requirements ensuring on time delivery.
• Liaise with customers for delivery timings and locations
• Filing of invoices and other related documents.
• Undertake any other duties in relation to the job scope as assigned by your superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum: GCE O Level
• Basic Microsoft application especially Excel & Word
• Knowledge of Singapore Customs permits will be an advantage but not a necessity as training will be provided.
