Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. Data gathering can be done through partnerships with other robotics companies, but doing experiments is crucial for grounding the platform in reality and ensuring its usefulness. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. With manufacturing cost multiple times lower than companies using a traditional robotic arm, our robots have an ROI in weeks. Your internship would revolve around bringing our robot to market. You may be remunerated with a combination of salary and share options. It is possible to combine this with our technical internships for a more “hybrid” role. This internship requires a reasonable amount of technical understanding/engineering interest.

1. Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
2. Coordinating and scheduling interviews with job applicants and hiring managers.
3. Assisting in onboarding new employees, including paperwork and orientation.
4. Maintaining and updating employee records and databases.
5. Assisting with HR-related communications, such as preparing HR documents and announcements.
6. Supporting HR team with various administrative tasks.
7. Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
8. Conducting research on HR trends and best practices.
9. Assisting in organizing HR-related training and development programs.
10. Participating in special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
11. Scheduling and joining meetings with prospective clients, investors, and partners
12. Market research for expansion overseas
13. Accounting and purchasing
14. Scouting for new opportunities, writing proposals for them, and pushing fabrica out there
15. Visiting industry trial sites, giving appropriate feedback to product development team
16. Speaking to industry players, ground workers, understanding the process of tile grouting to help us shape our solution, especially from an operational point of view
17. Connecting manufacturers and our product team to build and iterate on our prototype, creating new avenues for manufacturing at scale, manufacturing for reliability
18. Website and other marketing/public relations management
19. Any other operational duties

A great candidate would possess the following:

Our development process is very iterative and agile. Thus, there would not be a concrete plan more than 2 weeks ahead and your role/tasks is/are likely to evolve over time. Besides, a lot of testing has to be done on a construction site. If you like this process, you’d be a good fit for us. You would thus play a significant part in deciding how your work would contribute to our overall goals.

• Contribute to development of strategies and workplans with the team to enhance workplace health, staff well-being and engagement aligned to organisation's vision, mission, values, and directions.
• Contribute in the conceptualisation, design, implementation, evaluation review, and continuous enhancement of staff engagement and well-being initiatives.
• Consult and co-lead with institution leads (where appropriate) as part of communities of practice to enhance staff wellbeing, especially for staff protection measures against abuse and harassment by external and internal perpetrators, mental wellbeing, resiliency, peer support programs etc.
• Track established indicators as appropriate (e.g. pulse surveys), and collaborate with institutions’ leads to analyze and improve wellbeing where necessary.
• Support the planning and curation of talks and communication materials to raise literacy and awareness on wellbeing and resiliency, including annual staff wellbeing campaign. Oversee and plan digitalization efforts to improve connectivity and staff’s accessibility to wellbeing resources and programs.
