Key Responsibilities

• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers.
• Issue Purchase Orders.
• Monitor the timeliness of deliveries.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and courier companies on the deliveries of incoming shipment.
• Liaise with internal departments on product type, price, and quantity of products to be purchased.
• Ensure that all invoices are certified accordingly.
• Data entry and proper filing of documents.
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.

As the Centre of Excellence function for Performance Management, you will play a key role in implementing the annual University-wide Career Progression/Promotion and Succession Planning processes.

You are required to manage the full spectrum of performance management functions and related initiatives. This includes reviewing, formulating and implementing performance management policies, framework and initiatives for all schemes of service to ensure robustness and objectivity. You will manage and conduct the annual ranking and promotion cycles with the support of HR Business Partners. As the secretariat to performance management calibration boards, you will prepare the files required and facilitate discussions on performance/potential assessment.

To advocate good performance management practices, you will also prepare and deliver briefing materials to the wider HR Community, stakeholders and employees.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or relevant field
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in any Human Resource role, with at least 3 years of experience in Performance Management
• Good oral and written communication skills, conversant with Microsoft Excel and stakeholder management
• Able to work independently and within tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented, proactive and strong analytical thinking

To fuel further development, we invite applications for an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) position in Geotechnical Engineering.

Applicants would need to possess PhD in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with strong interdisciplinary expertise in areas such as soil mechanics, underground construction, soil improvement, instrumentation, monitoring, numerical analysis, Geoenvironmental engineering, as well as using the latest technologies such as AI, digitalization, data analytics, zero carbon and emerging geomaterials. Applicants who are competent to teach first- and second-year undergraduate basic courses for Civil Engineering such as Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Computing and Mathematics will be considered favourably.  Candidates would also need to demonstrate strong and relevant teaching ability and strong communication skills. Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Learning Programmes Management)

What the role is

CAAS is seeking a passionate individual who is experienced in Capability Development function to join our team. You will play an important role in supporting learning programmes and initiatives that grow professionalism, capability and performance of CAAS colleagues.

What you will be working on

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Implement and manage learning programs and initiatives to address the organization's skill development and training needs, including coordinating registration, scheduling, logistics

• Coordinate with subject matter experts to provide training content, curriculum, and materials for various learning programs including sharing and briefing sessions

• Review training materials for coherency and relevancy to established organisational learning objectives

• Provide guidance and support to learners and learning partners to ensure smooth and high-quality training delivery standards

• Ensure timely accurate record updating in HR training system for analysis of training data and generate reports to track training participation, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI) for learning initiatives

• Provide feedback and suggestions on process improvement in the capability development function for efficiency and effectiveness.

What we are looking for

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Human Resource, Organisational Development, or a related field, preferably with some prior experience in learning / capability development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels across CAAS

• Ability to work independently, take initiative in delivering assigned tasks with accountability.

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year employment contract.
