Job Description

The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Through its main hub in Singapore, the Centre will engage in multi-disciplinary research to promote women’s health, including a series of diet and lifestyle intervention studies.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. Responsibilities include development, implementation and monitoring of meal plans, educating participants as needed, collecting dietary data, and performing administrative duties to ensure the studies’ success and compliance. The staff will work closely with Principal Investigators of intervention studies, collaborate closely with the research team, food service team, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Centre’s Director as needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The staff will hold a few key responsibilities, including

(1) Intervention study coordinator:

• Recruit and interview study participants for the intervention study
• Implement methods for collecting dietary data, including detailed food intake records and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate participants' nutritional status and document any deviations from prescribed diets.

(2) Nutritional Intervention study monitoring:

• Monitor food/nutrient composition for meals developed for intervention study
• Collaborate with the research team to integrate nutritional components into the study design and ensure alignment with research objectives.
• Liaise and coordinate with the Food Service team, providing diet requirements, and assisting in menu and recipe development and analysis as required

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day client servicing, handle and provide timely resolution to client issues.
• Validates client data and documentation in relevant systems.
• Takes the lead to coordinate and follow-up across internal departments to solve client needs.

• Analyzes client data and provides reporting as needed.

Your key responsibilities:

• Working as part of a front-office Client Services/Client Management product team to actively manage a portfolio of agency & trustee mandates including (but not limited to) the following products:
  Syndicated Loans, Project Finance,
  Escrow, Account Bank and Specialized Custody
  Structured Finance, Securitization
  Eurobonds and MTN Programmes
• Assist the Team Head to formulate and implement procedures and policies which meet with the bank’s standard on control, risk management, operational efficiency and service quality.
• Active participation in documentation review, deal structuring and execution in accordance with agreed procedures and policies together with internal or external legal counsel. The successful candidate is expected to provide comments on structure, mechanics and operational aspects. The candidate is expected to participate in deal review of all transaction structures with training and development to be provided as required or identified, and be able to provide appropriate solutions to clients by liaising and coordinating with both internal and external parties including infrastructure partners within GBS, DBOI, GAD and the ICSDs).
• Ensure accurate transaction booking on all internal systems from initial transaction setup and ongoing administration. Perform the ‘4 eye’ validation on the transactions principally managed by other team members as required including outgoing reports, notices, payment instructions etc. in relation to the assigned transactions. Ensure the adherence of internal control procedures in the ongoing administration of such transactions.
• Manage all ongoing portfolio management responsibilities linked to assigned transactions, including but not limited to placement of investments, review and preparation of reports, interest and collateral calculation, monitoring of quantitative and qualitative covenants, and maintenance of deal administration files.
• Liaison with issuers/borrowers and noteholders/lenders to deal with waivers, consent solicitations and restructurings/default management with documentation amendments as required.
• Work with internal business partners both locally and globally on projects and new product developments including with other regional and global hubs.
• Where required, to assist with the preparation and validation of management / MIS reports and handling of control / compliance matters in accordance with Bank's and regulatory requirements.
• To act as product SME, providing support and guidance to juniors as well as “extension of desk” functions supporting the front-office team in managing the portfolio of transactions.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Banking and Finance
• At least 3 years’ direct exposure to trust/agency, capital markets and/or structured financing products
• Excellent communication and relationship building skill both with team members and business partners with proven track record with existing client relationship. Able to demonstrate strong ability to interact confidently with all levels of stakeholders.
• Working level of awareness in Corporate and Investment Banking and their products.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, decision making skills with a good eye for detail and a team player.
• Highly organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to provide oversight and explain complex issues in a simple way, able to handle stress
• Able to effectively organize and prioritize workflow, operate independently and manage the expectations of stakeholders and handle frequently changing business priorities.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
