The Operations Associate’s primary goal is to help Asset Operations team facilitate asset management and offer support in investment management, compliance, tax, and regulatory matters. To accomplish this goal, the position requires to demonstrate problem-solving skills.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Handle both internal and external communication. Liaise with funds, banks, securities firms, and other entities worldwide, to complete asset management compliance support.
2. Assist in the operation and management of overseas companies, including assisting in the audit of overseas company accounts and tax reporting matters.
3. Monitor post-investment requirements for projects across all asset classes invested globally and offer support in handling compliance and operational matters.
4. Manage internal records and information within the company in a confidential and secure manner. This includes creating, organizing, and maintaining files and databases.
5. Other operational duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 0-2 years’ of professional experience.
2. To liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts in China, a working level of Mandarin, and Proficiency in English are required.
3. BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
4. Interested in and experience with wealth management in the Family Office and/or funds industry is a plus.
5. Sophisticated and tactful, with strong communication skills.
6. Meticulous individual who has good time management skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.
8. Preferred applicant with Singapore Citizenship.

We are seeking an energetic and resourceful Associate to join our Institutional Coverage team. This candidate will play a key role in supporting senior members of the team in managing relationships with financial institutions, sourcing of loan assets from these financial institutions, and facilitating the syndication of loans originated by Clifford Capital.

Working with senior members of the Institutional Coverage team, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Evaluation of projects and financing opportunities to determine suitability for financing and/or distribution;
• Preparation of presentations, pipeline files, briefing notes, board papers and other marketing materials;
• Preparation of credit screening applications to seek initial approvals, and working with the Client Coverage team for the proposed acquisition of secondary loan assets from banks; and
• Supporting in the development and management of banks and institutional relationships.
• He/she will also be working closely with other support functions such as Legal and Compliance, Risk, Finance, Operations and Treasury functions within the Group for all ancillary activities in support of the secondary acquisition and syndication activities.

· Attend meetings with client, consultants & subcontractor to ensure that all project requirements are compiled and executed accordingly

· Able to interpret drawing and identify discrepancy within all trades and come out with a solution

· Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling and coordination of works and ensure timely completion

· To lead a team of supervisors/ electricians/ technicians to carry out their works accurately and timely to ensure that works on site are carried out according to client requirement

· Manage end to end delivery of project through defined project scope, detailed project plan & seek stakeholder’s agreement for sign-off

· Track project status to ensure delivery is on track and provide regular project updates

· Able to handle a few minor projects concurrently

· Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, controlling and coordinating of building services related works in terms of preventive / breakdown / A&A Works

· Liaise and hold meetings with clients, Managing Agent & Sub-contractor to ensure that all requirements by clients and relevant authorities are adhered

· Monitor, track, and provide timely project progress reports to the management

· Good knowledge and experienced in building related works such as civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, piling, A&A, plumbing works etc.

· Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Requirements

· Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.

· Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA , Possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.

· Experience in a marine construction company is favourable,
