Core Responsibilities

• Lead account planning with strong Plans and data driven sales projections- this includes ownership of account flow and the various sales planning tools, inputs into overall S&OP process
• Be like a business consultant to our customers, able to advise customers on business performance, insights from across the broader LEGO business, aid in forecasting upcoming top-SKUs)
• Drive channel and store execution excellence from assortment listing excellence, inventory management, in-store merchandising, and Through-The-Line campaign execution
• Lead overall contract renewal process including negotiations
• Ensure Business-As-Usual tasks are done on a consistent & timely basis – CTT claims, data collation and analysis, Credit Limit simulations, timely POs from customers)

Do you have what it takes?

• Minimum 5 years experience in key account management within the retail industry
• Familiarity with duty-free shopping, airport retail, and other travel-related sales channels highly preferred, including but not limited to in-depth understanding of the travel/retail market dynamics and trends in the APAC region
• Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving sales growth.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contractual development
• Strong analytical capabilities, with well-rounded understanding of consumer goods business to develop insights to develop account plans and identify business opportunities
• Independent, driven and a self-starter – able to navigate through ambiguity
• Appreciates and values teamwork and mutual feedback in ways of working
• Able to communicate well English and another APAC language in writing would be helpful
• Flexibility to travel as needed within the APAC region

Please note: This is a permanent position based in our Singapore office. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for co-developing, monitoring and evaluation of the strategic initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership, you will analyse trends, opportunities and develop plans to achieve long-term objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of business strategy of our agency, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans.

As a Strategy Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping THKMC’s future and ensuring its long-term success. You should possess a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and analytical skills, along with a keen understanding of the social service and community care sector environment in which the agency operates.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enabling Growth:

• Lead development & execution of THKMC's strategic plans & initiatives to drive growth & enhance competitive advantage.
• Monitor & evaluate continuously the progress of strategic initiatives, adjusting as necessary.

2. Research:

• Conduct comprehensive Social Service and Community Care (SS&CC) sector research, competitor analysis, and sectoral trend assessments to identify opportunities & threats. Understand how this data could be relevant for THKMC services & operations.

3. Data Analytics:

• Analyse data & perform quantitative analysis to glean insights about THKMC client, caregiver, volunteer & corporate partner populations.
• Use data to understand THKMC positioning in SS&CCA sector & recommend improvements.
• Analyse data (including financial statistics, budgets & forecasts), formulate & test hypotheses, and develop models to quantify feasibility of recommended strategic decisions.
• Identify THKMC strategic initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Lead cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders to work cohesively towards achieving strategic objectives. 

5. Reporting and Communication:

• Track performance of strategic initiatives. Construct & update THKMC Management dashboard for monitoring & reporting KPIs.
• Prepare Strategic Planning and Transformation (SPT) discussion & presentation papers. Partner Secretariat(s) to table SPT presentations & updates of THKMC Management dashboard
• Work with Head (SPRM) to achieve functional objectives & deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Post-graduate degree or professional certification would be a plus.
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in management consulting, strategic planning, change management and / or business development, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proficiency in project management principles to oversee execution of strategic initiatives.

Opening in 2023, Artyzen Singapore will be the first new hotel added to Singapore’s Orchard Road district in over a decade. What was once the sprawling home of the late Tan Hoon Siang (grandson of Singapore philanthropist Tan Tock Seng) is being transformed into a 20-story luxury property. The 142 rooms will sport a distinctive aesthetic, fusing reinterpreted facets of Peranakan art and style with contemporary design.

Responsibilities:

• To support Executive Housekeeper to create an environment for the team to successfully execute all Housekeeping operations ensuring both guest and employee satisfaction, and highest level of cleanliness.
• To oversee day-to-day operations relating to the Housekeeping Department (including Rooms) and administer supervision of all housekeeping staff in conjunction with the Executive Housekeeper.
• Effective and efficient assignment of manpower and resources to achieve cost saving, based on operations requirements.
• Establish a cross training program to enable staff to be multi-tasking with multi-skill.
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement, providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.
• Assist in liaising and organize with other relevant department that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
• Inspects and double-check Guest Laundry, Dry Cleaning and press work on a daily basis, to ensure optimum quality of work, prompt pickup and delivery of garments.
• Develops standard operating procedures, as well as production and quality standards.
• Assist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
• Assist in controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Higher diploma or degree holder in business administration or related discipline
• Minimum of two years of previous experience in a similar position

The Tax team handles Income’s corporate tax and GST matters and ensures that Income meets all its tax obligations as a corporate citizen.

You will be covering the preparer role within the tax team to support key tax reporting work responsibilities during the contract period:

• Extraction and review of general ledger listing for purpose of preparation of the first full corporate tax returns of Income
• Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of tax computation
• Perform relevant reconciliations, controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tax reporting and operational tasks
• Investigate exceptions and engage with relevant internal and external parties to follow up on queries and address issues
• Ensure adherence to controls, compliance with relevant policies and procedures
• Research and implementation of tax reporting requirements
• Assistance with review of quarterly GST returns
• Participation in projects or other ad-hoc tasks as allocated

Requirements:

• University Degree in the Accounting or Business
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in tax reporting
• Prior experience in insurance tax will be an added advantage
• Strong tax knowledge, skills and experience in financial sector
• Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment to ensure timely and accurate preparation of the first full corporate tax computation for Income
• Support of review of quarterly GST filing

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of engineering operations.

Lead and manage the maintenance department to ensure high quality standards for building maintenance, M&E operations, managing projects and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure that the facilities are well-cared for and adequately support the business operations.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma in M&E or its equivalent with at least 6 years’ experience in serviced apartment/hotel Engineering functions;
• Knowledge of Building Automation System preferred;
• Good leadership and effective time management skills;
• A qualified Fire and Safety Manager will be a plus, am well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety rules & regulations.
