Requirements and skills

• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Food Engineering or any other related discipline
• A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in B2B food development, having in-depth knowledge of ingredient functionality and processing know-how in beverage segment (powdered premixes, RTD, beverage sauce/syrup, etc.).
• Experience and knowledge in other relevant categories e.g. dairy, bakery, confectionery, desserts or savoury will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of the working dynamics across FMCG/CPG and food service channel
• People management capabilities and ability to continuously improve the team performance having a customer centric approach based on key deliverables.
• Masters the food development process inside-out from customer inspiration to winning customer projects.

Summary:

The Regional Data Center Systems Category Manager reports to the Secure Power Data Center Systems LoB Director of Global Category Management and is responsible for the commercial success of the Data Center Systems business in the region. She/He represents the region for all the new product development and life cycle activities within the Line of Business. He/she will be the Single Point of Contact within the region for all product related technical and commercial queries. He/she completes, and coordinates tasks related to new offers launches and ensure local teams are set up to succeed in the introduction and selling of delivered offers.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a technical expert in the region to be able answer all product customer questions
• Support the P&L in the region for the Data Center Systems products and offers;
• Accountable for regions’ business commitments during the offer development cycle;
• Lead new offer introduction reviews in the region and drive corrective actions;
• Prepare business cases, collect regional commitments and Voice of Customer to influence the product management, R&D, Project Management teams for new product development and/or product maintenance.
