Munich Re is the world’s largest reinsurer and a leading provider of reinsurance solutions in Asia. The Regional Centre in Singapore has grown and expanded substantially over the past years with more than 400 employees currently. Southeast Asia is one of the most exciting regions in the world and offers great opportunities for Munich Re.
Reporting to the Head of HR, Singapore & South East Asia, you should be a creative thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive competing priorities in a change environment.
Your Job
- Lead the Singapore & SEA talent, culture, DEI and people agenda by driving organisational initiatives and working closely with the business.
- Collaborate with Regional HR COEs to roll out global/regional initiatives with a local lens by making appropriate adaptations to local regulations and business environment.
- Work on change projects for the Singapore & SEA HR team. This includes but is not limited to gathering information and data to build business cases and presentations for management review.
- Support the roll out of region wide talent reviews, succession planning and career discussions.
- Design and implement programmes for Singapore to build the future talent pool, such as the Singapore Internship Programme and any other early career programs.
- Support global, regional and local people-related surveys, including the global employee engagement survey, new joiner and exit surveys, pulse surveys and learning and development feedback surveys, from set up, reporting and analysis to preparing communication of results and trends.
- Deliver social and engagement activities to increase employee engagement and drive retention.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (eg. Education, Business, Human Resources, Psychology)
- 8+ years hands-on experience across a varied range of HR topics. HR experience in an insurance or financial services company is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to liaise and influence employees at all levels
- Demonstrated drive to drive changes and improvements
- Meticulous with strong attention to details
- Collaborative and team oriented
- Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
