Project Director

Work Location: Changi Naval Base

Working days: 6 days 8am to 5pm

Requirements

• Advanced degree preferred in a relevant field
• Project management certification preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in a leadership position managing more than one project
• Experience managing, designing, implementing and evaluating multiple projects
• Technical proficiency with industry software and project management software

Job Description

• Provides strategic leadership and technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of projects.
• Makes sure projects are aligned with overall strategic goals and objectives of the organization and, if not, revises plan to make them so
• Oversees all project implementation related to project management, including monitoring and reporting, financials transactions, execution of project plans and performance
• Selects and manages the training of project teams, assigning clear roles and responsibilities, providing effective supervision, and managing performance.
• Ensures projects deliver specified results and meet quality expectations
• Creates and manages project budgets
• Regularly updates clients, stakeholders and executives with reports on the progress and performance of projects
• Identify and mitigate project risk to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Follow all regulations related to projects and ensure they’re in compliance
• Guides individual project managers across a portfolio of projects
• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned

• QAQC Engineer
• Work Location: Changi Naval Base

Working days: 6 days 8am to 5pm

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Civil and/or Construction Engineering
• Able to read basic structural drawings.
• Preferably 2 year(s) of working experience
• Experience in PPVC & PBU projects are added advantage.

Job scope

• To coordinate and execute all QC procedures, documentations, and records.
• Checking that the assembly or production line comply to standards and procedures.
• To perform daily post-pour and pre-delivery inspections before delivery of components.
• Report non-conformance to Manager for immediate action.
• Collaborate with planner to develop daily, weekly and monthly delivery plans.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure delivery is carried out as per scheduled.
• To arrange storage of product.
• Carry out monthly stock take as when required.
• Keep records of inspection and before/after repair of defect products.
• Arrange for testing of raw materials such as rebar, aggregate, cement and precision tools.
• To lead internal and external QA audits (ISO9001)
• Well versed in HDB, BCA, SCI requirements.
• To work with design team on technical issues and subcontractor on quality issues
• Take initiative to resolve quality issues of delivered product as highlighted by clients.
• Coordinate closely with client representative such as RE, ARE and RTO.
• Engage with production team to deliver high quality works.
• Prepare a monthly analysis and report to management with recommendations for improvement and preventive measures.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Objectives of the Position

• Serve as the business partner for HR and Communications for the Agricultural Solutions, South East Asia sub-region; effectively support the business leader and leadership team in achieving business priorities and organization needs through people strategies, tactics and initiatives.

Main Tasks:

Communications Champion

• Maintain a framework for professional internal and external communication in the sub-region
• Working in collaboration with SEA marketing, facilitate the implementation of communication guidelines and best practice sharing, including brand management.
• Drive internal communications to keep the team informed, connected and engaged
• Provide strategic communication support to SEA Leadership Team to create and deliver effective communications on strategic topics for internal and external audiences

HR Business Partner and Inclusion Champion

• Act as an advisor and strategic partner to consult, coach and challenge leaders on people topics.
• Proactively identify organization needs and provide appropriate HR and Communications solutions to support the business strategy; Lead delivery of regional initiatives/projects in the sub-region, including change management and communication.
• Champion Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) across the organization, including developing the D&I strategy and driving implementation of inclusive practices.
• Steer and ensure effective, high-impact delivery of people processes in the sub-region including talent management, capability development, performance management, compensation management including incentives, recognition, resourcing strategy and manpower planning.
• Support the SEA Leader in hiring and selection of key positions; drive inclusive hiring practices across the sub-region.
• Manage maintenance of relevant HR data for the sub-region; provide data-driven insights for people and business decisions.
• Serve as part of the Regional HR Community, select Global HR Communities and support select regional HR initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or a related discipline
• 8 years of professional HR / Communications experience in a multinational company environment
• Preferably with experience in HR Business Partnering, Internal Communications and change management
• High organizational and cultural awareness
• Ability to operate and influence with impact in a matrix environment
• Entrepreneurial and customer focus with strong drive to successfully steer impactful solutions that are effective in country operating context
