This role will support an integrated, value-based approach to human resources management, aligned to annual and long-term strategic business and HR initiatives in a large organization. She/he will be a strategic partner with the business, to nurture an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

A. JOB SCOPE/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager, Resource Acquisition is responsible for raising funds for SPD’s cause and meet fundraising targets to serve people with disabilities through SPD’s programmes and services. Work closely with other members of SPD’s Community Partnerships Division and Direct Service Programme Heads in planning and implementing fundraising activities and developing proposals for donors that align with SPD’s mission and goals.

1. Actively drive new engagement with untapped sectors and high net worth individuals to build a pipeline of new prospective donors to raise funds for programmes and services in aid of people with disabilities;

2. Acquire new donors and maintain and grow relationships with them, promptly following up, reporting and opening channels of support, and constantly looking out for new opportunities;

3. Craft compelling proposals and present existing platforms in an engaging way to interest potential donors;

4. Develop, review and execute engagement plan to generate collaborative opportunities with accounts;

5. Analyse donation landscape, giving trends and donors’ needs and expectations, gathering data on prospective donors to develop targeted approaches to cultivate and reach out to new donors;

6. Provide support for collaborative fundraising with corporate partners including giving advice on fundraising and attending events independently;

Within Corporate Treasury, Resource Deployment and Strategy (“RDS”) is a unique opportunity for individuals at all levels to manage the firm’s balance sheet from both an asset and liability perspective and directly contribute to executing the firm’s strategy. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re looking for a professional to join our RDS team in Singapore. This individual is expected to contribute to decisions regarding financial resource management, as well as serve as Treasury’s main point of contact with businesses which consume or generate funding

• Develop and iteratively optimize the firm’s funding liability strategy, considering cost, channel diversification, maturity concentration, and impact to key liquidity and capital metrics, with a focus on APAC entities
• Build models, develop analytical frameworks, and conduct scenario analysis to help inform marginal liability management and financial resource allocation decisions based on liquidity availability, marginal costs, return profile, and franchise benefits
• Partner with key stakeholders in Global Banking and Markets, Asset and Wealth Management, and Platform Solutions to deploy the firm’s balance sheet, and to facilitate new activities
• Develop reporting for, and present analyses of, firmwide and subsidiary-level funding plans, for use by internal and external stakeholders, including firmwide senior management, regulators, and investors
• Engage with external stakeholders including regulatory agencies, ratings agencies, and funding counterparties in various forums
• Develop meaningful partnerships with internal stakeholders; develop tools to enhance decision-making capabilities

QUALIFICIATIONS

• Approximately 1 year of working experience in Treasury or a finance-related function in a major financial institution or corporate
• Excellent analytical skills, with ability to formulate problems, test hypotheses, and condense complex problems into plain language
• Experience managing and interpreting large amounts of data, and analyzing the output to identify trends and present solutions through business intelligence tools such as Tableau
• Functional understanding of financial institution financial reports, as well as subsidiary liquidity and capital requirements such as LCR, NSFR, and the G-SIB surcharge
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to produce polished presentation materials for senior executives
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple priorities
