We are seeking a highly motivated research assistant with a strong mathematical background who is interested to explore new research directions in neuro-symbolic methods, specifically on the interplay between deep learning and symbolic reasoning. The successful candidate can expect to help with the implementation of algebraic machine reasoning frameworks and will work closely with other team members.

The goal of this project is to develop a general neuro-symbolic reasoning framework for solving various reasoning tasks. The symbolic reasoning part of this framework shall be based on algebraic machine reasoning, a new reasoning paradigm built upon commutative algebra and computational algebra. The non-symbolic part of the framework shall primarily be based on deep learning, and could include vision models, language models, and multi-modal models.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's in computer science.

Who We Need

Sales Assistant Manager Job Description

We are looking to employ a highly driven assistant sales manager to assist the sales manager with the day-to-day running of our store. The assistant sales manager’s responsibilities include developing strategies to improve sales, effectively handling customer complaints, and assisting with the recruitment of sales staff. You should also be able to delegate tasks to the sales staff in the absence of the sales manager.

To be successful as an assistant sales manager, you should demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and ensure that sales staff comply with company policies and guidelines. Ultimately, a top-performing assistant sales manager should be able to achieve excellent customer service at all times.

Sales Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

• Continually meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Supervising and guiding the sales team as well as providing incentives to motivate staff to achieve sales targets.
• Monitoring the performance of the sales team.
• Ensuring that the store is clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with customers.
• Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales.
• Regularly attending sales meetings and training sessions.
• Ensuring that the store is adequately stocked with company products.
• Performing all duties of the Sales Manager in cases of absence or emergency.
• Updates managers by consolidating, analysing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
• Assist with the sales process by maintaining a fully stocked store.
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs.
• Manage point-of-sale processes.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product features and sales promotion
• Tracks sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analysing, and summarising expenses, and forwarding for reimbursement.
• Update customer records in the company database as required
• Perform any other duties assigned by the director.

Sales Assistant Manager Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of sales agreements, invoices, billings, and documentation for sales and financing transactions
• Support sales and accounting departments to ensure successful sales and financing transactions
• Update administrative data in systems and maintain records of such data, including general record keeping and filing duties
• Manage bank book through recording financial inflows and outflows for bank reconciliation and daily reporting and forecasting for payments and deductions
• Provide internal stakeholders with necessary administrative support and undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Skills Required

• Proficient in MS Office and computerized accounting systems
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skill

• Singaporean, prior experience in the automotive industry will be an added advantage

Estimated Salary: $10 to $12 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse duty of receiving, checking, retrieving, loading & unloading, repacking and palletizing for cargo.
• Perform record keeping, stock movement control.
• Update status of cargo upon receipt into in-house computer system.
• Kitting of raw material for the work order to production.
• Binning of raw material to a location after IQA approved.
• Any related duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum N/O level or equivalent.
• Candidates with no working experience are welcome to apply.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to correspond with Mandarin language for answeing queries and meet the demands of Chinese speaking customers/suppliers.
• Good working attitude and discipline.

· Carry out end-to-end recruitment, on-boarding, employee exit management, performance management, implementation of HR policies and procedures, staff training & development

· HR administration such as data entry, filing, prepare employment contracts, letters and other documentation

· Conduct staff orientation and regular briefing on company policies and procedures

· Support in monthly payroll including attendance checking and Overtime processing

· Administration on Foreign workers work pass renewal & MYE matters, dormitory (staff housing) & others

· Administration on employee insurance, government paid claims, staff benefit claims, employee training and others

· Prepare and Deliver timely and accurate data, reports and office administration

· Participate in HR projects and provide any other HR support assigned

Requirements:

· Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administrative / Business Studies

· Minimum 1 year of full construction HR working experience as generalist including payroll processing.

· Familiar with MOM regulations and HR practices

· Prefer English and Mandarin speaker
