Job Description

• Full set of accounts for ship chartering business and investment holding companies.
• Review of payments (including staff claims) and direct liaison with logistics department on billing matters, payment processing back-up when accounts assistant is away.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly accounting schedule inclusive fixed asset, prepayments, accruals and other balance sheet schedules.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and revaluation, inter-company transaction reconciliation.
• Monthly and quarterly preparation of Group Reporting Pack.
• Prepare quarterly GST returns and workings and GST reporting.
• Assist in year-end audit.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager (i.e. reporting to Singapore Department of Statistics, KYC request from banks, etc.)

Job Requirements

• Possess Degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in GST reporting is a must.
• Knowledge of SAP Accounting system will be a plus.
• Attention to details, meticulous and ability to multi-task in fast pace environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for answering phone calls, providing information, and resolving queries. Handling insurance claims, preparing invoices, and collecting payments are also key tasks. Alongside these, you will perform various administrative tasks, assist with clinical duties, and carry out simple procedures as needed. Furthermore, you'll undertake additional tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the medical facility.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in medical insurance processing
• IT savvy
• Proficiency in managing insurance claims is particularly valued.
