• Running of banking errands.

The laboratory of Dr. Tang Hong-Wen within the Signature Research Programme in Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) at Duke-NUS is recruiting a Research Assistant with strong enthusiasm and interest in muscles and muscle stem cells. The Tang lab’s scientific focus is to understand how muscle functions get impaired during aging and tumorigenesis. Dr Tang’s laboratory uses unique cross-species and interdisciplinary approach incorporating Drosophila genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, and mouse models, to identify new evolutionary conserved mechanisms underlying human muscle diseases and provide new therapeutic strategies targeting muscle wasting and mitigating the effects of aging.

The Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders (CVMD) Programme houses state-of-the-art technologies for profiling mitochondrial function and metabolic adaptations in human patients and other model organisms, and undertakes translational and clinical research in cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.

Prof Derek Hausenloy’s laboratory aims to discover new treatments for protecting the heart from acute ischaemia/reperfusion injury and for preventing heart failure. We use a translational approach to research comprising cell models, rodent models (atherosclerosis, acute myocardial infarction and heart failure), nanoparticles for delivery of therapeutics to the ischaemic heart, and clinical studies.

The Duke-NUS Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) Programme studies the causes and treatments of cancer and related diseases. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Assistant is responsible for coordinating general warehouse operations and activities including picking and packing, shipping and receiving deliveries, conducting stock checks, documenting warehouse transactions and records, and storing of inventory.

Ground Management:
