Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team at East Ocean Aquatic Store. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and inviting store environment, and supporting the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment.
  Assist with the care and maintenance of aquarium displays.
  Receive and stock new inventory.
  Assist with the setup and breakdown of store displays for events.
  
• Aquarium Care: Perform basic aquarium maintenance tasks, such as water changes and feeding.
  Monitor the health of fish and aquatic plants.
  Identify and address any potential issues with aquarium systems.
  
• Customer Service: Provide friendly assistance to customers, directing customer to the right personel to help with their qeuries. Build strong customer relationships and foster loyalty.
  

Qualifications:

• Passion for aquariums and a strong interest in fishkeeping.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

• Responsible for the daily preparation of ingredients (e.g. boiling, washing, peeling, slicing etc.)
• Assisting Cooks & Chefs with cooking and food presentation
• Maintaining the quality and plating standards of all food items

• Prepare quotation and ensure rates to customers are updated
• Handle the processing of all quotations with accuracy and timeliness

• Back office system (SAP) organization and maintenance
• Handling of customer complaints
• Training co-ordination within the Service Division
• Organization and maintenance of customer contracts.
• Planning and organization of on-site customer management meetings and reviews.
• To handle other matters related to Service Division as and when such matters arise.
