The Department of History at the National University of Singapore invites applications for a tenure-track position, beginning in August 2025, at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The successful candidate will have a completed PhD degree in History, and have a strong research agenda rooted in World History, with no preference for regions. Candidates should have an international profile commensurate with their rank and stage of career. The Department is particularly interested in applicants with research interests and accomplishments in one or more of the following subfields: gender; science, technology, and society; environment; the ancient world; and international relations. A demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to teaching Introduction to World History as well as more specialized courses for broad undergraduate audiences in the College of the Humanities and Sciences and the Department’s M.A. students. • Prepare and manage large volume of shipping documentations (Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Orders and Airway Bill) by stipulated daily schedules to facilitate outbound shipment delivery to customers
• Ensure all shipping documents are accurate, complete and comply with industry regulations and Company standards
• Coordinate import shipment documentations with forwarders for timely transportation to Warehouse
• Act as the main point of contact with regards to any shipping enquiries and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of daily operations
• Perform operation management reports

Requirements:

• 1 year of relevant logistics experience

Additional info:

• Average of 300 shipments in a day.
• 100% work in Warehouse which is air-conditioned environment
• 2 cut offs in a day (local shipments to be completed by 10am and export shipments by 12pm)

• Assist in preparing admin reports and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations
• Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system
• Verify attendance, timesheets, and leave records to calculate accurate payments
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and ensure adherence to statutory requirements
• Assist in preparing reports and filings for tax and statutory contributions

• Generate payroll reports for internal audits and management review.

Job Descriptions:

1. Administrative duties

• Answering phone calls and email enquiries
• Scheduling of appointments
• Attending to patients’ enquiries
• Registration of new patients
• Retrieval, organizing and preparing of patient's casenotes
• Tracing of laboratory and radiologic reports
• Other adhoc tasks given by the Clinic Manager

2. Front Counter duties

• Discharge patients and dispensing of medications accurately
• Assist patients with payments or charges.

3. Clinical duties

• Taking patient's vital signs
• Assisting doctors in minor procedures
• Provides chaperone role
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the premises and consultation rooms
• Ensure accurate translation of doctors' schedule into Plato
• Sterilize medical instruments and sanitize designated areas

Job Requirements:

• Clinic experience is preferred
