Areas of Responsibility:

Description:

• Perform business analysis and/or acting as point of contact with external vendors/integrators and various business representatives
• Ensuring the quality of deliverables from the integrators, involving thorough review, feedback, and alignment with business stakeholders on respective areas
• Responsible for enhancing the product backlog with detailed specifications
• Clarify and communicate the specifications to all the relevant stakeholders involved
• Responsible for gathering and analyzing user requirement and impact analysis during Project preparation phase
• Producing / reviewing General/Detailed Functional Specification and communicating to project teams
• Learns the system functions / data and is able to define the evolutions of the functional architecture
• Responsible for proper documentation of functional and non-functional specifications
• Review test cases of SIT tester
• Prepare and support UAT
• Ensure that risks and issues are escalated to line manager

Contributing Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

· Engage with the industry and internal departments to meet established objectives, policies, and processes.

· Provide guidance to industry for onboarding of new clients.

· Manage the storing and retrieval of account documents per data policy.

· Manage mailbox and attend to industry’s queries.

· Assist in the review of polices and processes, if required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Reporting
  • Review the financials of the Schools, Offices, Centres and Institutes (SOCIs) monthly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriate presentation.
  • Prepare standardised regular financial performance reports in compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate the financial performance with relevant stakeholders to determine any actions to be taken.
  • Provide training / guidance to the SOCIs' management team (e.g. HODs, Assistant Deans, Budget co-ordinators).
  • Support budgetary control, including monitoring of fund utilisation and performing system budget/fund transfers.
  • Post accounting entries necessary for effective management reporting.
  • Handle queries from SOCIs on financial systems and other information.
• Planning & Analysis
  • Facilitate SOCIs' budget & forecast submissions
• Communication
  • Be the central point of contact for the SOCIs on all financial matters.
  • Enhance awareness and adherence to financial policies.
  • Build strong, effective relationships across SOCIs to ensure their needs are addressed and finance policies are understood.
• Process Improvement
  • Align and streamline processes within and across SOCIs to achieve consistency and efficiency

• Degree in Accountancy, preferably with CA qualifications.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Successful track record in business partnering and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
• Keen interest in driving process improvements.
• Familiar with SAP usage and data extraction.
• Familiar with BI tools (eg. Qliksense, Power BI, Tableau).
