About the Opportunity

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated Accounting professional who would like to be in the center of action to support the business in achieving its goals for our business entities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for full set of accounts for a few subsidiaries of the Group.
• Day to day operational activities including invoicing, payments, AR & AP.
• Prepare accounts schedules and reports.
• Perform quarterly GST reporting and submission.
• Liaison with external Auditor.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

What We Are Looking for

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• More than 3 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Competent in month end closing independently.
• Possess prior experience in utilizing Accounting software Microsoft Business Central.
• Knowledge with Xero would be an added advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Main function is to ensure complete payments and control expenses by scheduling payments, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, effectively ensuring the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Day-to-day AP operations for both invoice and payment processing.
• Manage multiple payment methods and verify all payments are processed in accordance to AP policy and credit terms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the payment process.
• Keeps track of all payments and expense invoices and statements.
• Responsible for on-time processing and payment of all payment requests, including staff claim.
• Perform monthly and yearly closing activities.
• Process manual and urgent payments requests.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.
• Ability to analyse and sensitive to numbers.
• Update all bank transactions on daily basis and perform bank reconciliation.
• Perform administrative, finance works and general accounting tasks assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or related fields
• At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in related field
• Possesses strong analytic and detail-oriented abilities
• Strong work commitment with positive attitude
• Proficient in MS Office

6. Problem-Solving: Addressing operational issues and troubleshooting problems as they arise. This requires quick thinking and effective decision-making skills.
7. Communication and Coordination: Acting as a liaison between different departments, teams, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination of activities.
8. Budget Management: Assisting in the preparation and management of budgets for operational activities. This includes monitoring expenses and ensuring that operations stay within budget.
9. Customer Service: Ensuring that customer service operations run smoothly and efficiently, addressing customer concerns, and improving service delivery.
10. Technology Utilization: Implementing and utilizing technology to improve operational processes,
