Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage regional compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business strategy.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to maintain equitable and competitive compensation structures.
• Provide guidance on global mobility policies, including expatriate compensation and relocation support.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and international standards in compensation and benefits.
• Partner with leadership to design and implement performance management frameworks that drive employee engagement and organizational growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical talent gaps and develop recruitment strategies for top-tier talent acquisition.
• Champion organizational development initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement strategies.
• Build and scale HR functions from the ground up during periods of rapid growth, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
• Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, interpreting complex business challenges into actionable HR initiatives.
• Lead change management efforts, ensuring seamless transitions during reorganizations or market expansions.
• Collaborate with teams across Sales, Data Analysis, User Experience, and Product Development to align HR objectives with business goals.
• Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize HR processes.
• Foster effective communication across diverse teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in Regional Compensation and Benefits.
• Experience in diverse industries, including HR consulting firms, tech companies, and startups.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis tools, and compensation benchmarking platforms.
• Strong expertise in global mobility, performance management, and organizational development.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead during rapid organizational growth and change.
• Experience in workday transformation projects
• Business level Japanese speaking is required, as the candidate will be required to liaise with Japanese stakeholders, and counterparts, on daily basis.
• Prior experience in liaising and managing Japanese stakeholders is highly preferred
