Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Silica Sands Sales Cordinator with expertise in the product. This role involves physical and derivative trading with a strong focus on global Silica sands markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep market knowledge, experience in trade origination, and a strong network within the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to drive sales, manage risk, and lead business development in a niche area of the carbon sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Origination & Execution:
• Lead the execution of physical and derivative trades for Silica sands.
• Source, price, and negotiate contracts.
• Manage the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
• Sales & Relationship Management:
• Build and manage relationships with key clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow the client base and increase market share.
• Handle contract negotiations, ensuring all terms align with business objectives.
• Exposure Management:
• Monitor and manage market exposure to optimize trade positions and mitigate risks.
• Implement risk management strategies in line with market trends and dynamics.
• Market Intelligence & Strategy:
• Stay ahead of global Silica sands market trends, regulations, and competition.
• Use market intelligence to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, particularly in niche markets within the carbon space.
• Business Development:
• Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing innovative trading strategies.
• Explore and secure partnerships in emerging markets, with a focus on long-term sustainability.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Silica sands trading.
• Expertise in both physical and derivative markets, with a strong track record of successful trades.
• In-depth knowledge of global Silica sands markets, including supply chains, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory environments.
• Strong relationship management skills and a robust industry network.
• Experience in trade origination, sales, pricing, and risk management.
• Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and act on new business opportunities in the carbon and Silica sands sectors.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in sourcing and managing Silica sands markets.
• Knowledge of niche opportunities within the carbon space.
• Proficiency with commodity trading platforms and exposure management tools.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Ensuring that all security staff are trained on policies and procedures including conflict resolution techniques

· Maintaining good relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure they can be called upon in case of an emergency

· Interviewing potential employees to determine whether they have the right qualifications and experience for the job

· Ensuring that nightclub security personnel are trained in conflict resolution methods and laws regarding the use of force

· Overseeing the financial operations of the nightclub to ensure compliance with industry standards

· Determining the number of employees needed to run the business efficiently and effectively

· Coordinating the entertainment schedule with the DJ and other staff members, such as security guards or event coordinators

· Overseeing the hiring process for new employees to ensure that they meet all requirements

· Discussing any concerns patrons might have with security staff and resolving issues if possible

Job Scope –

• Handle day-to-day admin & accounting functions (data entry and bookkeeping into the accounting system)

• Responsible for handling general affairs and office management

• Assist in documentation of quotations, purchase orders, and delivery orders

• Liaise with internal employees and external parties regarding general affairs and administrative support functions

• Manage admin duties such as data entry, email, preparing of issuing of invoices, delivery orders, etc

• Coordination of payment issues between suppliers/customers and our company

• Coordination of disputes between our requestors and suppliers.

• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirement

• Possess at least ‘N’, ‘O’ level & ITE or equivalent relevant work experience

• At least 1-2 years of purchasing experience in the Construction Industry

• Can work independently with initiative and minimal supervision

Contract Duration: 12 Months
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 6pm, Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm Basic Salary: Up to $5,350 per month

Job Responsibilities:

· Provide administrative and secretarial support for day-to-day tasks like schedule management, booking meeting venues, handling meeting logistics, and managing requests from staff and external companies as well as agencies for meeting slots

· Manage travel arrangements for four Directors, handle expense claims, procure office supplies as well as track processing of invoices and payments.

· Organise divisional functions, off site and teambuilding events as needed

· Prepare meeting materials and event admin briefs where necessary

· Perform budget tracking for certain line items and purchase related processes

· Participate in any other ad hoc projects (such as assisting with events management) and committees as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements:

· Diploma in any discipline.

· Minimum of five to seven years’ secretarial experience at the executive level preferred.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

This role would require the incumbent to support calendar management for four directors.
