How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?

1. Contribute to the development and execution of business strategy

• Building strong and solid relationships with internal / external key stakeholders
• Influencing business leaders in decision making - going beyond pure HR matters (Organization effectiveness, change management, capabilities for future…)
• Driving implementation by providing consultancy, coaching, HR solutions to engage and inspire people
• Ensuring performance is managed at individual and team levels

2. Formulate HR strategy / Priorities to sustain business success

• Building critical competencies for the organisation according to business growth needs
• Steering the talent attraction, development (training) and retention topics
• Leading succession planning and building talent pipeline, and driving Leadership development
• Improving employee experience, promoting organisational culture & value inside and outside the company

3.Drive HR operational excellence

• Collaborating and coordinating with HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) and HR Shared Service Centre (SSC) to implement HR initiatives, solve HR issues in responsible business scope
• Driving and ensuring adoption of HR policies and procedures applicable to the HUB
• Assessing and escalating issues/improvement related to HR policies to CoEs
• Defining and executing action plans based on HR data analytics

4. Facilitate business transformation and change

• Cares & understands the changes about external business context, such as technology, politics, economic, etc.
• Anticipation of future market trends that are likely to impact HR needs
• Plays an influential role in business transformation and change management
• Promotes new ways of working

5. Ensure compliance to laws and regulation

• Implements company programs that is aligned with the local regulations
• Facilitates discussion between employees and line managers to resolve disputes, and other complaints
• In partnership with the internal legal counsel, represents the company with regards to labor related issues
• Updates him/herself of the amendments in local regulations to ensure 100% compliance

Who Are We Looking For?

• A college or university degree, preferably in business specializing in Human Resources, or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of experience in a Human Resources role in a gas industry will be advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with autonomy.
• Good organizational and project management skill.
• Clear understanding of Singapore statutory laws and labor regulations.
• Knowledge of Workday, GMail and Google Platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development of new manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing practices
• Design tools and fixtures with AutoCAD and CNC programming
• Operation of high tech Vacuum and Sinter HIP furnaces, CNC and Precision Waterjet.
• Support the training of staff and line operators on manufacturing processes
• Deployment of design of Experiment and statistical control for key processes
• Develop and execute process validation plans and proper documentation control
• Participate in cost reduction, quality improvement, safety awareness and other activities for continual improvement

Other Information

• Working Hours: 5.5-days, Mon-Sat, 0800AM - 0530PM

• General administrative duties including to provide full spectrum of administrative support to the Director/Manager
• Receptionist duties (Handle incoming calls, fax & email enquiries)
• Data entry of information into the system
• Filing of documents and maintenance of records for easy retrieval and accurate documentation to facilitate information flow
• Processing of petty cash claims, issuance of purchase orders and work orders
• Keeping track of all office equipment and liaise with external suppliers or subcontractors for information and quotation
• Liaise and coordinate orders with customers
• Follow-up and coordination of tasks with internal and external stakeholders
• Setup the training/ meeting room for training/meeting/presentation sessions
• Assist in organizing company functions and meetings
• Maintenance of copier, shredder, laminator, and other company machines and equipment

Responsibilities:

Full spectrum of HR functions.

Prepare all HR-related documents including employment contracts, HR letters and correspondences

Provide input and develop in the implementation of HR strategy and execution of any supporting programs.

Update and maintain accurate employee data in HR system

Manage leave administration

Manage employee’s all Medical /WICA insurance claims & Factory Insurance

Full knowledge in handling MOM work passes (Application, renewal, cancellation etc)

Submission of IR21, IR8A, Yearly Income Tax Assessment

HR knowledge specific to construction industry

Process Government-paid leave application/claims, NS Claim, Levy Claim, etc.

Submission of all government grants

Recruitment and selection as well as internship programs to meet the organization’s manpower needs

Planning and coordination of company events (Annual Dinner, teambuilding, overseas trip)

Manage employee welfare and arrange wellness programme (Health programme, sports activity)

Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Any other ad-hoc admin/HR duties assigned.

Requirements:

Min Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) or equivalent

At least 3 years of working experience in Construction.

Knowledgeable about the Employment Act and other employment related legislation and regulations

Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels
