• Manages Business Management team for multiple customers and/or regions. Primary interface between sales and BU.
• Responsible to forecast, and deliver to booking, revenue and gross margin commits.

Contributes to Large Order committee - by providing pricing margin and scorecard details.
• Team owns purchase and config spec responses. Resolves disconnects between customer, field and BU Technology stakeholders to close hardware and process specifications (RFQs).
• Team gathers data and recommends pricing structure of products and partners with Sales for order closure. Develops pricing strategy to introduce product enhancements to increase margin.
• Team qualifies, schedules, and coordinates demos, visits, and customer meetings. Guides content and/or presents level 1/2 technical presentations to customers
• Manages and develops employees and multiple projects/ programs for the Business Mgmt. organization

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete definition and design of complex components, modules and sub systems. Contribute to the system engineering specification both within the field of one's expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Ensure designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS). Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand sub system requirements. Be able to chair architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down select to a final architecture of a subsystem.
2. Conduct detailed engineering analysis of sub systems using vast knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements pertaining to field of technical expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches. Evaluate architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach.
3. Build and qualify prototypes of new designs, or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications
4. Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of difficult engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
5. Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
6. Perform and coordinate tests as per internal as well as industry-accepted reliability specifications. Make suitable design or operational changes as required.
7. Support system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, and understand the underlying system implications.
8. Provide remote and onsite support to field support personnel as required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in Quality Management Roles in Precision Engineering or Contract Manufacturing (Mechatronics) industries
• Extensive working knowledge / experience of QMS, SPC, GD&T and CMM
• Well versed in CpK, Gage R&R, PPAP, 8D and 5 Why methodology
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Well organized and able to multi-task
• Analytical and a good team player

Key Responsibilities

• Key Product Unit, Process engineer for bump/FOWLP metallization product development at Applied Product Development Center (APDC).
• Product development include Degas, PreClean and PVD technology, required to design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on moderately difficult experiments, within safety guidelines. Generate internal documentation for products, presentations and technical reports.
• Perform new hardware characterization, tool issue troubleshooting, on moderately difficult systems, within safety guidelines. Basic hardware knowledge required.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve moderately difficult engineering issues
• Interact with customers to resolve moderately difficult engineering issues/problems.
• Implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation

Requirements:

• PhD/ Master/ Bachelor in relevant Engineering/ Science/ Physics studies
• Candidate with minimum prior experiences to few years experiences are welcome to apply
• Understanding of semiconductor process and industry is compulsory
