This role will support the day-to-day administration of industry engagement and partnerships at CFISG, working closely with the Executive Director and Director of Strategy, Partnerships, and Technology Translation. The candidate will play a key role in driving industry engagement and partnership activities, bridging communication and collaboration between CFI Singapore, partner institutions, and industry stakeholders to advance joint initiatives and strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional interpersonal and writing skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities. The successful candidate will cover the following roles:

a) Strategic Partnership Development and Engagement

• Organize and facilitate partner engagement activities, such as workshops, roundtable discussions, or other events, to showcase research advancements and explore new collaboration opportunities.

• Extensive experience with Linux and cloud technologies, with the ability to perform or manage changes and bug fixes to the existing codebase, both internally and with external vendors
• Hands-on skills in code review and system/solution architecture design

Experience

• Should have at least 6 years of experience in working with Python, Cloud, Embedded, and IoT related areas. A good foundation in Cybersecurity product suites and technologies

• Experienced in Agile project management and development
• Proven experience in developing solutions for embedded systems

Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets

• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth handover to the delivery team
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline providing accurate forecasts and reports to management

- Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention

• Conduct regular account reviews and performance evaluations to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

- Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership:

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase AI solutions and build brand visibility
• Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive informed decision-making
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients

Requirements:

• Preferably at least 2-5 years of working experience in enterprise facing tech or solutions sales, marketing, business development, partnership roles, or related sectors
• Minimum qualification of Polytechnic diploma or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
• High-energy, results-oriented mindset with a passion for technology and innovation
• Strong networking skills and ability to build long-term partnerships
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
• Proven ability to open new markets, establish pipeline, secure sales deals, engage customers, execute business development, establish new partnerships, manage projects through completion independently and handle administrative tasks efficiently
• Capable of multitasking and managing projects in a fast-paced environment
