- Evaluate the potential consequences of changes to upstream and downstream systems.
- Develop and maintain programs (shell scripts, SQL scripts) adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Follow the organization's SDLC processes, creating and updating relevant documentation.
- Participate in system design, review, and improvement, ensuring security and performance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, implementing both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including disaster recovery drills and software updates.
- Provide ad-hoc support, data analysis, and troubleshooting to users.
- Manage, maintain, and optimize applications to meet service level expectations.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance and functionality.
- Coordinate and support production releases, including on-call and after-hours support.
- Proactively identify, assess, and escalate potential risks and issues.
Requirements:
- Hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in MS SQL Server development, including work on SSIS packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and thrive in a dynamic technical environment, with the ability to multitask and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of database management systems.
