Our team in Singapore is on the hunt for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to assist our client's record management infrastructure.

Main Objectives And Purpose

Team membership

• Ensure to be proven as good team player to deliver the objectives assigned to the team.

Technical Management

• Record Management skillset, including Veritas Enterprise Vault, Veritas MERGE1 and other dependent components to record management infrastructure
• Must have a continual improvement and risk mitigation focus and proactively improve the monitoring, efficiency, reliability, capacity and quality of all IT services under his managed perimeter.
• Guarantee functioning of the infrastructure/services in APAC, taking into account business requirements
• Responsible for having an operational up to date BCP / DR documented and tested.

Governance

• Planning and completing designated projects from start to end, providing regular updates on task and project status and ensuring project deadlines are met on time.
• Responsible for the SLA section related to the tower: SLA definition, reporting, dashboards.
• Ensure the coordination and collaboration with Global Head of the relevant functional area.
• Ensure that the instructions and guidelines of the Group (esp. IT Security guidelines and Global ITI&P Governance) are respected and the architecture is validated.
• Responsible for controls to be run for as well as the closure of audit points related to the tower.

Key Results Areas

• Optimize the infrastructure and drive the tower strategy for APAC in line with Head Office strategy
• Guarantee functioning of the systems by having resilient infrastructure and escalation of problems, proper documentation, good procedures/controls and monitoring.
• Support comprehensive APAC Collaborative infrastructure / service monitoring strategy
• Track and proactively manage Incidents. Devise improvement strategies to reduce incidents.
• Track and proactively manage assets.
• Develop procedures and IT controls for the tower.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment
• Experience in an investment banking-focus business
• Excellent knowledge and experience with following systems (must be with expert knowledge on following) :
• Veritas Enterprise Vault (must have)
• Veritas MERGE1 (good to have)
• PowerShell /Python Scripting (must have)
• Good knowledge of Project management.
• Good to have knowledge of any other eComm archiving tool (e-discovery, Compliance & Discovery Accelerator).
• ITIL trained and experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow

Job Responsibilities:

• Support and provide mechanical engineering design
• Handle design works and/or project management relevant to ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing.
• Supervise and coach a team of engineers in mechanical services for the project from concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration to project completion
• Act as either Project Manager or Team Leader in projects.
• Act as mentor to new employees.
• Provide technical assistance to engineers.
• Advise engineers on the project administration and contractual issues.
• Conduct technical discussion on common design problems with engineers

Job Requirements:

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering with PEB Singapore
• Healthcare/Data Centre/LTA experience preferred
• Strong design experience in Fire Safety
• Minimum 6 years of relevant design experience
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and local authority submission process (LTA / PUB / BCA)

• Provide presales support by solving technical business solutions for the client.
• Responsible for product demonstration, proposal writing, creating compliance table, training and product enablement.
• Develop working proficiency and obtain certifications on assigned products and technologies.
• Conduct hands-on POC independently and present vendor’s solution to partners and end-users.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent
• At least 2 years of presales experience in IT network and Cybersecurity domain.
• Good knowledge of security and networking infrastructure environment.
