• Work with selected projects at government agencies, championing product quality and software testing practices in agile/waterfall project delivery.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in establishing test strategies for systems in agile development environments.
• Profound knowledge of various test types, levels, techniques, methodologies, and test automation, with a strong understanding of test-driven development and continuous integration/delivery principles.
• Hands-on test automation experience and the ability to integrate test automation into the Continuous Integration chain.
• Experience in QA Management for the system delivery and Certification in Testing and Software Quality Assurance will be a bonus.
• Organized, methodical, and meticulous in planning, management, and execution, with a strong focus on attention to detail and problem-solving.

What will you do?

The Lead Network Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing deployments that span Visa’s private data center and public cloud environments with an emphasis on infrastructure as code network connectivity enablement for Visa’s Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure public cloud presence.

We are looking for a hands-on individual with extensive knowledge in networking, automation, and infrastructure as code technology including knowledge of applicable public cloud processes, methodologies, standards, products, and frameworks. The ideal candidate would assist in the definition of the architecture, capturing functional requirements, preparing estimates, and developing technical solutions for Visa’s foundational cloud services.

This role offers the opportunity to combine architecture definition with hands-on development work as part of providing guidance to project teams on design and deployment related activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Network Cloud Engineer provides senior technical leadership in several network engineering areas of expertise and is responsible for developing and executing new initiatives to drive growth, reduce cost, increase reliability and increase global synergy for Visa’s networks. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
