What you’ll do

The Data Infrastructure team is tasked with providing our data engineering and analytics teams with the right tools. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure, incorporating technologies such as Kafka, Flink, and Spark. Additionally, you will create and enhance tooling and platforms to empower the engineering team with improved self-service capabilities.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Previous experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Bachelor degree or above in computer science or engineering related majors.
• Extensive understanding of software development lifecycle, with experience in building frameworks or tools for various stages.
• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language.
• Commitment to best practices in engineering, security, and design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Data streaming engineering experience.
• Prior experience working with data streaming platforms such as Kafka.
