Company Our client is a multinational engineering firm and is expanding in the region. They have a newly created role, seeking for a Japanese and English bilingual speaking, hands-on, individual contributor IT Manager to communicate and partner effectively with their HQ based in Japan to ensure alignment of the Asia Regional Hub with global strategies. Technical experience in maintaining and operating SaaS enterprise applications such as SAP Concur are required to be successful in this role. The Role You will design and implement IT solutions for the Asia Regional Hub, ensuring alignment with global in developing, maintaining, and operating enterprise systems, including SAP Concur, external data linkages (banks, contractors, etc.), and other SaaS business systems. You will apply group-wide IT governance, security, and large-scale strategy to companies under the Hub, providing IT support to Hub users through contact points, request fulfillment, incident response, and operations. You will be the primary contact for all IT inquiries and supporting users in fulfilling their requests, manage incidents, responding to IT failures and maintenance needs, and delivering educational content and training to users. You will also maintain and operate the Group common platform, including approximately 10 Microsoft365 solutions, and managing device fleets (PCs, iPhones, iPads, MFPs). Your Profile You must possess at least 10 years of IT expertise in fast-paced, global/ regional environment, Japanese and English bilingual language capability to communicate effectively with the Japan HQ and deploy regional initiatives. You will need a diverse IT skillset in both office automation (managing Microsoft365, PCs, iPhones, multifunction machines, and base networks) and IT user support, honed through service desk experience. Experience at a global company's regional headquarters, along with project management for enterprise application development and hands-on development, maintenance, and operation (experience with SAP Concur and S/4HANA a plus).
