Working Hours:

Monday to Thurdsday: 8.30AM to 6.00PM

Friday: 8.30AM to 5.30PM

Mandatory Skill: Aruba Clear Pass

Preferred Skill: Cisco Catalyst Switch

Responsibilities:

• Day to day operation of managing, administration of all cisco switches and Clearpass on customer site.

• Support operations such as production networks in a hyper-scale and heterogeneous environment.

• Perform deep dives on complex technical issues across networks, ranging from automated tooling to hardware failures and network issues.

• Anticipate potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate/minimize.

• Participate and improve escalation and emergency response with detailed postmortem while addressing issues systematically to prevent future occurrences.

• Align with cross-functional relationships with Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Traffic, Logistics, Program Management, and OEM partners to deliver superb operational results and manage the performance of external vendors.

• Escorting of vendors when needed.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

• Experience in a System Integration environment and/or implementing Network systems is a plus

• Familiar and experienced in Palo Alto Firewall and Clearpass

• Certification in Network related products will be a plus.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technology from a customer perspective

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication, team player and written skills.

The security analyst is responsible for analysing cybersecurity events, improving threat detection capabilities and procedures. If an event results in a security incident, the analyst will work with the relevant stakeholders to respond and contain the incident.

Key Responsibilities:

- Improving threat detection capabilities, driving lessons learn from incidents and identifying potential gaps in security controls.

- Responsible for maintaining detection capabilities for the SOC.

- Analyse large dataset and correlate information from various sources to identify the root cause to an incident.

- Enhance and drive improvements for SOC detection and response playbooks.

- Take the lead in incident response to minimize the impact of a security incident to our organization.

- Work cooperatively with various IT infrastructure team, applications and business units for the effective operations of the security.

Qualifications:

- 3 years or more relevant working experience in information security technologies.

- Understanding of the tactics, techniques and procedures of cyber advesaries.

- Insurance / Financial industry experience.

- Industry certifications CISSP, CEH, or GIAC preferred.

- Experience in Splunk preferred.

- Comfortable with analysing and processing large datasets.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Willing to learn and able to work well in a team.

• Manage and configure infrastructure systems and applications, including Active Directory Services, data centers, video conferencing, audio systems, telephony, server storage, backups, and more. Additionally, oversee network devices such as firewalls, routers, VPNs, internet proxies, wireless networks, desktops, mobile, and remote devices.
• Ensure automated system backups, successful execution of recovery and disaster recovery plans, and timely application of patches. Monitor system resource usage to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with external vendors to uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including administration and user guides.
• Provide technical support for both local and overseas branch users across LAN and WAN environments, maintaining strict security standards.
• Identify and evaluate products, solutions, vendors, and suppliers to meet project requirements.
• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support while leading or contributing as a team member in various projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; CCNA certification is an added advantage.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in enterprise networking, including the implementation and support of WAN, LAN, and VPN optimization.
• Experienced in managing Microsoft Server 2012 and later versions, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite products and services.
• Knowledgeable in internet architecture designs such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy, and Firewall configurations.
• Familiar with hardware including Alcatel PABX, FortiGate devices, Cisco equipment, and Unifi Wireless Access Point Controllers.
• Strong understanding of Cyber Risk and Cybersecurity principles; knowledge of PDPA is highly desirable.
• Experience with Veeam, VMware, and UNIX/Linux systems is a plus.
• Skills in API/Web Programming and Database Administration are considered an asset.
