RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop applications following best practices of accessibility and test-driven development
• Create reusable, testable, organized, efficient, and self-documenting code/components
• Partner closely with design and product teams to craft product experiences while providing technical guidance and solutions
• Encourage code craftsmanship across team
• Deliver code in an agile team environment
• Drive teams to follow clean code principles
• Develop cross-browser compatible components, features and UI for our web-based app
• Write, audit, and improve our test coverage
• Profile and improve our frontend performance and security
• Troubleshoot, debug and fix UI and functional related issues
• Translating designs and wireframes into pixel perfect high-quality code

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience in frontend
• Strong engineering and technical background with demonstrable enterprise development experience using ReactJS and RESTful APIs
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 and CSS
• Experience using Redux, Web Workers and PWAs
• Experience with continuous integration and build (CI/CD) process & tools
• Proven ability to quickly understand functional requirements and technical concepts
• Experience with TDD and familiarity with testing frameworks, ideally Cypress, Selenium and PACT
• Exposure to mobile development via React Native an advantage
• GitHub portfolio an advantage

Responsible in software development in one or more of the following:

• Angular/React/Ionic front ends
• Google Calendar API
• MEAN stack-based SPA web applications
• Python and NodeJS web apps
• RESTful/MQ based microservices

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 5 years of SDLC experience.

• Act as an integral member of the Data & AI team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data on our client's proprietary cloud-native Data & AI platform.

• Exhibit proficiency in visual storytelling through data visualization techniques.
• Experience in implementing data projects or change management is considered an advantageous asset.
• Possess a CFA Level 1-3 certification or a solid understanding of asset management, providing an added advantage.
• Asset Management experience is beneficial for comprehending and recommending the necessary data quality rules and remediation plans to stakeholders.
