Our Regional Finance Team is seeking a highly motivated Finance Controlling Senior Manager to oversee the Q-Commerce controllers of a portfolio of countries as well as provide value-added analysis contributing to important business decisions with key stakeholders. The Finance Controlling Senior Manager is based in the Singapore and will report to the Finance Controlling Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Business partnering activities with local and regional stakeholders for APAC markets and all businesses under the Q-Commerce space
• Be part of a lean high-powered Regional Finance Team, having a strong understanding of finance processes and overseeing matters relating to finance accounting standards and processes and month-end closing activities
• Ensure financial reports are produced accurately and in timely manner.
• Point-of contact in matters relating to process optimisation and standardisation, enhance reporting efficiency such as implementing new accounting processes and reporting guidelines
• Partner with FP&A and Business Insights team to provide accurate and value-added analysis that impacts best estimates, budget and forecasting
• Oversee financial and information analysis, measure the financial impact from a broad range of variables and key indicators.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects, systems implementation and continually automate/streamline processes to improve business efficiency in the region.
• Assist local stakeholders on group accounting policies, audit, tax and other statutory requirements if necessary

Primary Objective:

• To assist Unit Head Treasury Processing Centre to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the processing of all treasury products for bank and non-bank counter-parties with the objective of avoiding operational risks and losses.
• Maintain high quality customer service standards by actively promoting them within the team
• Comply with bank's policy and guidelines in cash handling practices

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholders Service

• Create a good rapport with stakeholders by providing a positive stakeholders experience at all times

Compliance

• Review existing process and adhere to Bank / Department policy and guidelines

Operations

• Trade validation to ensure booked deals are accurately captured in trade system (e.g. Murex)
• Manage trade confirmation as part of process control
• Minimize settlement risks by ensuring all deal confirmations are sent out timely and with accuracy
• Monitor trade settlement and construct payment advices
• Ensure all deals are settled timely and efficiently to avoid overdraft costs and other compensations
• Follow up with counterparty immediately to facilitate and drive any break resolution
• Static data and SSI creation/ maintenance support
• Rate fixing and prices upload into trade system
• Reconciliation and Nostro outage investigations
• Posting of accounting entries
• Involve in providing user requirement and user acceptance testing (UAT) for New Product and/or Change Request (CR)
• Provide support to the business units for business development and customer service
• Other administrative tasks relating to supporting business
• Provide custodian and nominees support to other business units where required
• Ensure securities holdings and cash position are reconciled
• Ensure securities processes (i.e. trade settlements, share transfers and corporate actions) are executed in a timely manner
• Manage custody billing
• Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and certification to the relevant bodies 

Process Improvement

• Constant review and feedback of existing processes and workflows to improve productivity and to mitigate risks.
• Implement the operations of new treasury products and inter-bank funds transfer services, develop and recommend processing and control procedures.
• Institute internal control measures and implement enhancement changes in treasury operational procedures, practices and computer systems to improve process efficiency and productivity.
• Provide support to projects and initiatives which increase automation

• Coordinate and communicate with cross functional and customer working teams to deliver success.
• Ensure relationship between customers and agency teams are optimised through delivery of data led insights.
• Create cross-channel and platform strategies and recommendations through data.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive test and learn initiatives with innovation agenda.

GENERAL FUNCTION

• Responsible for daily production scheduling and planning to meet dateline of sales orders.
• Co-ordinate with Production Supervisors to achieve the production schedule set target.
• Co-ordinate with sales department and warehouse on sale order requirements and delivery schedule respectively.
• Assist in supervision, motivation, training new employees, maintaining discipline, control manpower deployment, reduces overtime, maintains good working relationship with subordinates and to study way to improve the section to increase high output and quality standard.
• Ensure all instructions given to workers earlier are carried out or follow-up.
• Inform immediate supervisor of any unusual happenings of major or minor incidents, accidents, hazardous situations or any other issues.
• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned

RAW MATERIALS/PRODUCTION PLANT AND SAFETY FUNCTION

• To plan and schedule of materials to ensure minimum disruptions to production and optimum inventory control.
• Co-ordinate the purchasing and requisition of raw materials and packing materials to meet the requirement for production.
• Work with production to release Monthly Production Schedule and generate production schedule work orders.
• Responsible for monitoring the stock level of all raw materials and packing materials and ensure they are properly identified, marked and stored.
• Ensure that the materials specified on the BOM strictly follow the mixing instruction procedure and supervise the correct use of machinery and equipment by workers.
• Ensure all raw materials used by workers follow the BOM production sheet.
• Generate cycle counts and physical inventory counts on regular basis to ensure inventory accuracy.  Conduct physical count on all materials twice a year.
• Submit the following reports to immediate supervisor:
• Monthly production output;
• Accurate compiling of workers’ time sheet.
