• Analyse the triggers for the event and review draft questions (RFI) for customers to address the triggers.
• Draft memo on ML/TF/Sanctions risk assessment based on customer profiles, transaction lookbacks and customer's response and recommend account management strategies
• Conduct investigations on identified customer profiles, suspicious transactions or activities.
• Filing of STRs to SONAR, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting obligations and timelines.
• Prepare and present insightful Management Information System (MIS) reports for internal and/or regulatory related reporting
• Periodic review of customer profile risk scoring mechanism
• Enhance and optimize the design and management of KYC system logics and processes, tailored to meet the needs of our evolving and diverse client base.
• Stay abreast of the latest regulatory developments in AML/FT and ensure our processes align with industry-leading practices and regulatory guidelines. Proactively prepare for and navigate regulatory audits to ensure our EDD framework and processes remains compliant.
• Foster a collaborative approach within AML Team and other departments within the Bank.
• Support AML Team in the execution of ad-hoc key AML CFT matters where required.

Requirement

• Diploma/ degree holder with minimum 10 years' experience in Enhanced Due Diligence Reviews and/or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering Terrorism Financing (CFT) digital and/or SME/Corporate banking environment. Additional certifications in anti-money laundering (AML) will be advantageous.
• Team lead or managerial experience will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in the Singapore AML/CFT regulations and guidelines
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese to communicate with our Mandarin speaking stakeholders
• Ability to organise and prioritize workload, support and motivate the team in delivering all commitments on time

Your core responsibilities will be:

• Designing and building the server application that powers the Qweebi Platform in a Typescript/NodeJS. If you have experience building server applications using any other general purpose programming language (Java/Kotlin/Python), you could be a good fit too as long as you are willing to pick up Typescript/NodeJS.
• Comfortable with exploring an existing codebase and following existing patterns to design and implement new features independently.
• Experience with automated testing at different levels (Unit and Integration) is a must.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/RDS Aurora).
• We would prefer someone who already has experience developing front-end web apps using a standard SPA framework (VueJS preferred). Barring this, experience in building GUI-driven applications is also acceptable if you are willing to pick up web development skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with TDD and Pair Programming approaches.
• We follow Continuous Integration and Deployment principles at Qweebi, and being comfortable in this kind of a work environment would be a big plus.
• Familiarity with working with AWS or other cloud providers (Azure/GCP, etc).
