As a Marine Design Engineer, you will own engineering responsibilities for all Cavotec’s shipboard shore power retrofit projects. Type of retrofit can be either turnkey, repair and upgrading. Project execution takes place either during voyage or at shipyards, or at times, both.

Shore power/ HVSC/ Alternative Maritime Power (AMP)/ Cold-ironing system enables vessels to connect to shore power while at berth, hence minimizing emissions and noises from the ship’s auxiliary engines. The retrofitted system will be integrated with ship’s existing electrical distribution and necessary instrumentation and monitoring systems.

You will ensure the system design is in accordance with contract specifications, Class rules, and all applicable ship-type and port-specific regulations. The People & Culture intern will be part of the HR Department supporting the team on operations relating to the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle and maintaining an excellent workplace culture. Absolute professionalism and discretion are required due to exposure to sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities: 

Support Recruitment Activities, including Campus Recruitment: 

• Coordinate and participate in campus recruitment events and career fairs 
• Assist in the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment events  
• Support the design of engaging materials for recruitment purposes. 
• Assist in maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate records. 
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of recruitment processes and documentation. 

Coordinate Internal Training Activities 

• Assist in organizing and coordinating internal training programs and workshops. 
• Help track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement. 

Facilitate Employee Wellness Activities: 

• Contribute to the planning and execution of employee wellness initiatives and engagement programs. 
• Assist in organizing events and activities that promote a positive and healthy workplace culture. 
• Collaborate with the HR team to measure employee engagement and gather insights for enhancing workplace satisfaction. 

Skills & Requirements: 

• Able to commit to a 6 months full time internship starting 2025.
• Currently pursuing a Degree, or diploma in Anthropology, Sociology, Human Resource Management, Sports Management, Business or a related field.
• A curious, independent and approachable team player

Sales Operations Assistant

Porsche Singapore is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Operations Assistant to provide support in managing Tequipment, Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), vehicle movement, and off-site storage. This role also involves coordinating refurbishment and conducting quality checks to ensure that all vehicles meet Porsche's high-quality standards.

• Handle Tequipment management including ordering and tracking the status of orders to ensure timely availability and installation.
• Manage Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) requests and collaborate with Aftersales team on installations and vehicle preparations.
• Manage and track the movement flow of all Porsche Singapore vehicles, including off-site overflow storage, ensuring accurate location records and overseeing key press management.
• Conduct quality and presentation checks to ensure all Porsche Singapore vehicles meet Porsche standards, including coordinating grooming services and overseeing servicing and repairs.
• Track and manage reports on test drives, mileage, petrol expenditure, and other metrics, as well as manage season parking for demo and management vehicles.
• Coordinate pre-owned car refurbishment and manage Porsche Approved warranty extensions, including arranging vehicle movements for customer viewings.
• Support the coordination of vehicle displays in the showroom and arrange display shift dates.
• Oversee the arrangement of loan vehicles for customers, media, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), including conducting 360 walk-around vehicle checks and managing insurance.

• 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the Automotive industry
• Proficient in MS Office
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive in engaging stakeholders and ensuring timely follow-up with a strong sense of accountability.
• Self-driven with a proactive learning attitude
• Attention to details and ability to prioritise and multitask
• Required to perform shift work including weekday evenings, weekends & public holidays
• Possess a Class 3 Driving License with at least 4 years of driving experience

• Take instruction from/assist reporting to superior.
• Produce sketch drawings.
• Set design criteria , check design calculation and drawings.
• Assist in technical proposals.
• Check documentation complies with design criteria/Client brief/Approved concept/Standard.
• Liaise/attend clients, architects and site meetings.
• Maintain and check for completeness record, etc.
• Resolve any technical problems faced during the project design and/or construction stages.
• Other ad-hoc assigned by Director.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Candidate must possess a least bachelor's degree/post graduate diplima/professional degree in Engineering Mechanical or equvalent.
• Relevant project experience in HVAC/ACMV/MEP system both in design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of M&E installation, current practices, code and authorities requirement.
• Knowledge in ACMV product R&D preferred.
• Knowledge in Auto Cad and BIM preferred.
