About this role:

We are seeking for an energetic and self-motivated Project Manager responsible for the implementation of large-scale government project in the area of knowledge and record management.

The project manager will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within cost and of excellent quality
• Identifying and implementing suitable technologies, conceptualize and develop solutions to meet the project needs.
• Providing weekly/or monthly progress reports when required by the project.
• Conducting the individual team review meeting & prepare the minutes of meeting.
• Working jointly with various technical team in developing the solution required. Preparation and involvement of bids and proposals to customers.
• Managing post implementation support and warranty for completed project

.Requirements

• Possesses hands-on IT experience in application development with at least FIVE (5) years of good IT project management skills;
• Possesses prior experience in managing large scale knowledge management and Media repository.
• Think out-of-the-box when presented with challenges and constraints
• PMP or CITPM certification is an added advantage
• Possesses good communication (verbal and written) skills in English;
• Experience in the following area is required:

1. Lead development/programming team in application development
2. At least 1 project life cycle in deploying project for government sectors

• Review project specifications, construction drawings and technical specification
• Undertake civil/structural engineering design and analysis on infrastructure construction projects, and be able to deliver solutions to more complex problems
• Produce shopdrawing and details for submission, coordination & fabrication
• Produce As-Built drawing for submission
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors & project teams
• Architectural planning, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors
• Coordinate & liaise between structural, architectural & M&E works on site.
• Assist Project Manager in planning, organising, implementing and controlling the construction of all architectural works.
• Checking & submission of all subcontractors/suppliers shopdrawings & material catalogues to consultants
• Attend site meetings
• Able to meet tight schedule
• Work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Purchasing of spare parts and provisions for the vessel
• Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.
• Follow up on the delivery of purchase orders and take action when needed.
• Liaise with with other departments such as Logistics, Finance & Administration, Fleet Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years experienced in purchasing of ship spares
• Good foundation with Incoterms

Job Scope:

· To assist SCD managers to collect, confirm and compile school FM asset from various MOE schools.

· This includes scheduled visits to different schools across Singapore to collect, confirm and compile FM asset data and performing due diligence checks on existing data.

· Good IT skills with proficiency in MS Excel is essential.

· Physically fit and able to walk for long periods.

· Able to work under tight timelines.

· Able to work closely with school representatives and managing agents.

· Meticulous and able to work with minimum supervision.

· Possessing own transportation is an advantage.

Requirement:

· Experience in estate management, building maintenance, building related experience in consultancy or Managing Agent firms, preferably with a minimum of 1 year in the respective position/field.

· Preferably candidates with mechanical, electrical engineering or facility management background

· Diploma or Degree in building related disciplines (e.g., estate management, building maintenance, architectural, quantity surveying, civil/ structural/ mechanical or electrical engineering)

· Those without a building-related diploma or degree, and with relevant experience and expertise may also apply.

Contract: 3 months

Working Arrangement:

· Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Typically, 4 days on-site (schools) and 1 day in office.
