Job Description

• Safety coordinator work to ensure that employees at the worksite can complete their work safely. He set safety standards for the workplace based on legal requirements and train employees to help them understand these rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating safety aspects and procedures as required under the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
• Identify unsafe work practice or work condition and recommend control measures.
• To implement reasonable practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice.
• Monitor risk assessment compliance and report for any non-compliance.
• To manage all safety-related programs on-site, brief all workers, and conduct site checking.
• To manage safety documents for the project.
• Generate safety reports for management.
• Review each document for conformity and accuracy.
• Keep all project safety documents orderly complete and categorized for easy accessibility to specific records and project.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required

This role is one of very few positions that are primed to directly influence the guest experience. You’ll be in-charge of:

• Leading service operations
• Building and maintaining relationships with guests
• Order taking and menu description
• Up-selling products based on your extensive product knowledge
• Assuring outlet setup is complete and walkthrough is done before shift
• Maintaining guest satisfaction levels by being proactive in service/bar operations
• Improving procedures and systems
• Conducting basic training and ensure SOPs are adhered to

Requirement

• Registered WSH Officer/Safety Officer with MOM
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in WSH for building/construction industry
• Possess a minimum Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety Management or related field
• Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills
