The dormitory supervisor resides in the program’s summer dormitory, monitors program participants in the evening and overnight, and provides supervision on program field trips. The dormitory supervisor also supervises the residential staff and program tutors, who are primarily undergraduate students, and serves as a liaison between the Upward Bound staff and staff from Boston University's Office of Residence Life and Office of Residential Safety. The dormitory supervisor also helps with delivering tutor training. The dormitory supervisor is responsible for enforcing program policies and, in conjunction with the Office of Residence Life, responding to medical and non-medical emergencies. The dormitory supervisor also coordinates evening tutorials and recreational activities for program participants. Authorities and Responsibilities

To interpret technical drawing and performing machining, sheetmetal process and requirement to produce the work piece.
To perform machine code programming with 3D modelling/knowledge of Auto Cad, solid works, others.
To operate, set up parts and producing parts as per drawing specification..
Guiding and providing operator/machinist with basic instruction in operating the machines.
Design jigs & fixtures for machining, sheetmetal, Robot welding process and good knowledge in understand of manufacturing aspect include re-design.
To responsible of all production mechanical related product matter and troubleshoot on dimensions non-conformance, and provide corrective actions and remedy.
To participate in Mfg/Production Engineering activities to improve quality process, waste, efficiency and cost.
