Sitting within Data & Technology Architecture Dept, the Python Developer is responsible:

• Solution the design and develop the software using waterfall/Agile methodology.
• Perform investigation, troubleshoot issues by developing scripts, SQL queries.
• Work closely and collaborate with the SOC Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers/System Owners for scope, schedules, requirements, tests, bug fixes, etc.

Scope

• Assist the Security Operations Center to automate BAU and new processes (eg. Data enrichments from various sources, auto ticket creations, syncing of tickets across systems, etc).
• The work will require the developer to develop tools that integrates across different security devices using various methods, from interaction with APIs, screen scrapping to client GUI interactions, etc.
• The developer may be required to understand from basic scripting language of the various security tools in order to help with the script development.
• Scripts can be implemented in a mixture of client-side, server-side and/or hybrid-cloud environments.

What we are looking for

• MUST have relevant Software Development experience and relevant software development certifications in Python will be an added advantage.

• Overall lead for delivering ITOSM initiatives for transformation program, overseeing work-streams and maintaining direction.
• Manage and deliver IT Operations and Service Management, including 24x7 Ops and Service Desk for customers in Singapore and overseas.
• Provide leadership and guidance to internal team and bridging partners for delivering best-in-class services.
• Manage IT infrastructure lifecycle, including design, build, maintenance, retirement, and transformation.
• Optimize ITOSM practice functions across areas like Compute, Storage, Networks, ITSM, BCP/DR, and different cloud environments.
• Responsible for project planning, execution, management, financial forecasting, planning, and cost management.
• Possess strong technical background in ITSM, Networks, Systems, DC, and Cloud infrastructure.
• Manage conflicting priorities and inter-dependencies, providing advice on appropriate course of action.
• Manage organizational risks related to the transformation program.
• Identify strategic enterprise-wide initiatives to drive consistency, efficiency, and alignment across Technology teams.
• Define implementation roadmap for strategic technology initiatives, setting goals and benefits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in IT, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12 + years of work experience in ITOSM in large and complex organizations, with at least 5 years in a leadership/management role.
• Relevant experience in technology strategy and transformation preferred, especially in large-scale Government, FSI, SI organizations.
• Proven track record of managing IT strategic planning and delivery, organizational change management, redesign, or transformation.
• Determined, resourceful, and adaptable individual who can thrive in ambiguity.
• Ideally good understanding of the government sector, products, relationships, priorities/legislation, and changing social and economic context.
• Demonstrated success in developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders for collaboration and partnership.

CONTRACTS MANAGER (MADAGASCAR)

Our client is one of the leading multi-disciplinary contractors in Singapore. They have a number of current large scale groundbreaking projects with tenders in place for some of Singapore’s most prestigious upcoming projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In-charge for the preparation and programs for commercial and contractual aspects related to the main contract and subcontracts
• Supervise commercial and contractual risk programs related to the project
• Engage in mitigation actions as quickly and efficiently
• Assesses external providers like vendors and subcontractors in terms of service and project deliverables.
• Convey contractual advisory from the commercial perspective to the project through all stages from construction to hand-over of the project
• Assist, monitor, report, plan and manage the Quantity Surveyor team in all the project and aspects of the job.
• Participate in continuous development and evaluate the processes, systems and policies based on the project’s contract organization and supervision.
• Guide on all contractual correspondence associated to the project, in view of the commercial impact
• Classify and evaluate on the contractual risk
• Handles contractual claims, disputes, settlements and resolution
• Discuss and interact with a variety of investors and partners both verbally and in written regarding notices eg. extension-of-time (EOT), change order, etc.
• Familiar in construction/contract law & different standard forms of contracts eg. FIDIC, NEC, etc.
• With leadership skills to handle internal and external stakeholders, deliberates strategically and critically, exercising decisions after checking all the factors.
• Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or any associated degree
• Minimum 10 to 15 years relevant working experience in contract negotiation, management and/ or administration
• Willing to be relocated to Madagascar
• Excellent project skills, good communication & interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Organized, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, good team player and able to meet tight deadline

• Execute Actual Data Conversion activities during pre-cutover, cutover window and post cutover.
• Responsible to plan, analyse, build and execute end to end Data Migration activities
• Responsible to manage Mock Run and Full-Dress Rehearsal activities
• Ability to work across multiple functional projects to understand data usage and implications for data migration and test points.
• Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping.

Job requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any equivalent
• With 3+ years’ experience in Data Migration
• Hands-on experience in Data Migration planning and SAP Implementation experience
