NRPO also works to foster public-private partnerships to ensure robotics technologies and IPs developed with public funding are relevant for industry and are commercialised into useful products, services and solutions that are adopted in Singapore and around the world.

A key role of NRPO is to bring together end-users across different industries, robotics & automation companies, and our IHLs/RIs to identify use cases and technology gaps that public-private partnerships can help to address. · Proactively support and cooperate with all engineering disciplines to achieve optimal design results including relevant input and comments to other discipline deliveries with guidance

· Work closely with and actively support supply chain, estimation, planning and other project teams

· Provide technical clarifications towards clients, sub suppliers, class and yard with guidance

· Support Technical Maintenance & Support team, Operation Managers and offshore units as and when required, including visiting Units in operation as needed for technical support and troubleshooting

Construction (Yard phase)

· Act as Operations focal point for leak testing activities

Operations:

· Assist the relevant unit in all matters relevant to Process and Safety

· Liaison with the Asset Maintenance team and actively contribute with technical and advisory support to Offshore Management Team, Asset Manager and Technical and Maintenance Managers in terms of Process Systems

· Review and assist in providing the engineering solutions for Technical Query and Management of Change Request from the Facility

· Preparation of process deliverables in support of work pack preparation including; PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment and Instrument Datasheets, etc.

· Perform and check process design calculations and process simulations

· Provide input to Asset Planning on modification scopes; engineering, fabrication and implementation phases.

· Support studies including HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessments as required.

· Provide input for variation orders, including cost estimates and justification.

Job Description

I am looking for one highly skilled and motivated individuals to work with me as full-time research professionals for a period of at least one year. The start date is subject to negotiation, but may be as early as 1 March 2024.

You will work with NUS Business School Professor Karsten Müller at the Department of Finance. For the most part, you will support Karsten’s ambitious research agenda on the link between credit markets and the real economy. This work uses macro and micro data and cutting-edge statistical methods to understand the drivers and consequences of who in the economy receives credit. Among other things, you will help to (a) construct novel data sources to measure credit market conditions, (b) analyse data to document the role of credit markets in recessions and stock market crashes, and (c) analyse the effectiveness of financial policies and credit subsidies in stimulating economic growth.

You will work with us on a variety of tasks, including data collection and analysis, statistical programming and data visualization, conducting literature reviews, summarizing research findings and policy documents, and editing research papers. This position is ideal for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage themselves and others, and an interest in economic research.

The position is based in Singapore. A successful candidate will be able to participate in the academic life at NUS, including the ability to attend research seminars and potentially PhD courses.
