• Greet guests with a smile, offer assistance with coats, bags, etc., and introduce yourself.

II. Overview of Function

The mission of the Philanthropy team is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (SEA-based) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission. The team works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to assist in the implementation of WWF-Singapore’s philanthropy strategy.

The Philanthropy Officer is expected to raise substantial funds from granting organizations including trusts, foundations and government agencies, mid-value and major donors, as well as build effective relationships with various stakeholders. The role is also responsible for the effective stewardship of current donors and supporters. This involves overseeing the stewardship activities to retain and cultivate ongoing relationships. Working collaboratively with the Head of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Offer conducts research on potential prospects, analyses and manages the database of donors and prospects, provides bespoke support for donors and organises bespoke events,trips and activities.

III. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Major Gifts Development (30%)

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to develop and execute an annual FR strategy to solicit individual gifts and raise funds from foundations, major donors and other grantmaking organisations

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to design effective budget models and be accountable for achievement of income targets; ensure project implementation and expenditure of funds is achieved within contractual milestones

● Effectively manage the donor cycle by developing and managing donor list and prospect pipeline, reporting, developing engagement and grant application plans, and capturing all activity within the CRM system

● Research and write grants; provide timely reporting and ensure compliance as required with grant awards

Stewardship (30%)

● Liaise with relevant teams (e.g. country field teams, WWF-SG conservation, finance) to collate information, fact check and seek clarification to ensure the info provided is accurate and up-to-date. ● Works with the Head of Philanthropy to fulfill requirements of internal due diligence processes including software and database management

● Conducts prospective major donor, trusts and foundations, multilateral grants and board of directors research including profiling and preparing of bios

● Assists in research and preparation of briefing documents for HNWIs, VIPs, the government, and other stakeholders

Data Management and Administrative Support (15%)

● Ensures the integrity of the donor database / CRM, and generates associated reports, such as the HNWI prospect pipeline, philanthropy income and major donor projects. Requires collaboration with Finance and CRM teams

IV. Profile:

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline with excellent results. Postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.

● At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in advisory, business development, philanthropy or environmental communications, project management, and / or fundraising, with proven success.

○ Proven track record in high-value target achievement in either trusts and foundations, public sector, major donor or corporate fundraising. Your day to day

Under the general direction of the Chief Concierge, you will be responsible for delivering True Luxury InterContinental Brand standards with an emphasis on Global Etiquette service standards. Financial Returns

• Ensure staff is properly trained on systems, security and cash handling procedures, and service and quality standards
• Ensure all team members are properly trained in areas such as: service delivery, hotel facilities and services, local directions, etc. and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions
• Works with the Chief Concierge to ensure the departmental performance of staff is productive. These include:

o Prepare induction programs for new employees and allocate sufficient time for their implementation

o Conduct on the job training in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures and maintain a record of progress for each staff member

o Provide input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelines

o Ensure new staff attend Corporate Orientation within first month of hire

o Coach, counsel and discipline staff in breach of hotel policies and departmental procedures, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance

Responsible Business

• Assist guests with all inquiries, both hotel and non-hotel related
• Conduct effective shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the activities of the day and alert to any potential problems
• Maintain detailed knowledge of key occurrences in your city/location including directions to key points of interests, restaurants, theaters, shopping, cinemas, sporting and recreational facilities, banks, consulates, transport systems and special events
• Maintain adequate supplies of forms, brochures and ensure they are presented in line with hotel standards
• Consult Log Book for information/request left by outgoing shift
• Manage all incoming guest mail, messages, telexes, facsimiles and special deliveries, in accordance with policy
• Manage outgoing guest mail, courier services, postage of parcels and freighting as directed by guests
• Maintain order and security of guest keys and other selected keys kept in Front Office, ensuring key issue policy is followed
• Receive telephone calls and take messages for guests who are out, in accordance with hotel policy
• Record incoming registered mail, telegram, parcel, telex in appropriate file
• Night staff check mail, message of expected guests against the system/computer and expected arrivals
• Prepare efficient work schedule for Bell staff, arranging holidays and vacations, taking into consideration projected occupancy and forecasts

What we need from you

High School diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years’ experience in an upscale hotel / equivalent environment as a Concierge or related discipline, plus one year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must speak fluent English and local language with additional other languages preferred.

What will I be doing?

Job Description

• Bookkeeping of AP and AR in the accounting system.
• Prepare GST report submission and bank reconciliation.
• Liaise with external accountants, clients, and internal staff.
• Responsible for month-end closing.
• Preparation of monthly financial reports, including assurance of accurate and timely results.
• Work closely with operations and related entities in operational and accounting matters.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accounting or relevant Professional Accounting Qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in this role.
• Able to work independently while maintaining a strong team spirit.
• Possess initiative and ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Autocount will be advantageous

SCOPE

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and team members. He/She must ensure that safety and security measures in the hotel are observed at all times and will respond to first aid incidents and apply effective first aid for guest and team members.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Take charge of the control room and monitor CCTV at all times.
• Handle all incoming information etc with confidentiality and forward to the concerned person.
• Provide support in emergency situations and accompany guests or team members to local authorities/hospital if required.
• Ensure that all fire exits and corridors are free from obstruction at all times.
• Respond to any fire/smoke alarms in the hotel and be ready to act accordingly.
• Ensure that gate passes are issued for all items/stock that leave the hotel and each item to be logged in the register book.
• Ensure that all fire-fighting equipment is in good working condition and all the emergency lights are illuminated.
• Conduct patrols in and around the hotel, driveway and parking spaces to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behaviour or security breaches.
• Conduct random checks on consignments and team members entering/leaving the hotel and their personal belongings at the security checkpoint to impede pilferage.
• Conduct basic Investigation and Fact-findings and provide assistance to Guests and team members when handling incidents.

REQUIREMENTS

• Positive, friendly, professional and confident, with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to present a professional image and deal with incidents in a discreet, confident and confidential manner.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in hospitality industry.
• Possesses a valid Security licence.

Operational Resilience Engineering provides resilience measurement and monitoring for the firm’s Important Business Services, a priority for regulators globally, with key deadlines over the next few years. Future state vision for this function is to design for resilience as we launch engineering platforms and products, share availability of critical services publicly with our clients, reduce operational loss and support costs, and continuously demise unused systems.
Heightened focus on Operational Resilience is key to our strategic theme of enhancing Engineering risk management. The measurement and monitoring of operational resilience includes:
• Defining a consistent taxonomy for Business Services, associated functions and Engineering Services
• Enabling dependency mapping of those Services to the assets they rely on, including systems, people, processes, vendors and facilities
• Creating a scenario catalog with impact tolerances/error budgets, ensuring recovery plans are in place and automating regular testing
• Maintaining a Resilience Dashboard for users across the firm to define the above, and view resulting analytics
The tooling to enable this initiative is a joint-venture between Operational Resilience Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Operational Risk and Resilience Metrics, Enterprise Technology Operations and Risk Engineering.
The program involves architecting and building the tooling from scratch on cutting edge technology stack that is highly scalable and performant to support 4,000+ users firmwide. The tooling is being built with the intent to be fully cloud native over the next few years, while starting in a hybrid mode using containerized deployments in view of time to market. Given the regulatory nature of the program, all the data will be modelled in the firm’s strategic data platform (Alloy) and go through data governance sign offs. Tooling will be built in tight alignment with site reliability principles to ensure a highly resilient architecture.
