RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the smooth operation and administration of the Senior Care Centre at Toa Payoh. Lead and develop the team ensuring quality care, safety and meaningful activities for our clients. Drive customer service quality and collaborate well with community stakeholders and partners.

• Take charge of the Centres day-to-day operations to achieve a high level of customer service and client engagement
• Recruit, build, lead and supervise a competent and committed team to achieve centre / divisional / organisational goals and plan employee development to fill proficiency gaps
• Design, develop and oversee the running of all programs
• Deliver quality performance, operational efficiency and compliance through continuous improvements through supervision and coaching of teams performance to ensure client's health / physical / social / mental well-being and safety, and betterment of the centre

Also, funders, sponsors and volunteers to impact community through our services and network and foster integration of work and services within the organization

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience as a supervisor or manager in senior care centre, dementia care, geriatrics or healthcare settings
• Passion and patience in serving the elderly clients
• Team player with good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to listen and express clearly and concisely
• Able to work independently and under time constraints
• Ability to interact with Mandarin and dialect-speaking clients

Responsible for the smooth, safe, and efficient operations of the laboratory by overseeing all aspects of laboratory operations including budgeting, equipment, staff, supplies procurement, software, documentation, compliance, quality improvement, technical and personnel activities in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the clinical laboratory’s day to day operation and administrative role, with focus on safety, quality, productivity and compliance.
• Maintain the laboratory safety standards and oversee the quality assurance activities, and ensure the laboratory remains in compliance with applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies (MOH & CAP).
• Manage periodic internal, external, regulatory and accreditation audits (MOH, CAP, etc.)
• Manage the development and implementation of all laboratory processes, workflow and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures across all laboratory functions.
• Lead the validation, evaluation and implementation of new laboratory test methodologies.
• Assist technical team in the development, validation and implementation of new diagnostic tests.
• Oversee the maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal instruments performance.
• Ensure the adoption of lean concept across all laboratory functions to achieve operational and cost efficiencies.
• Responsible for inventory management, expense tracking, quality assurance activities and updating laboratory protocols, investigation, and documentation of adverse incidents.
• Review, interpret and report patients results reliably, accurately and with integrity.
• Liaise with clients such as clinicians, laboratory managers, health care professionals, supervisors on test services, costs, charges, reimbursements, workflows, troubleshooting, policy changes and implementation of new tests.
• Manage staff performance appraisal.
• Mentor and coach staff, identify relevant trainings and manage staff career expectations and facilitate career progression.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Pre-requisites:

• BSc in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• At least 10 years’ of clinical laboratory experience in supervisory/management role.
• Ability to organise, communicate, teach, and work with others in an effective matter.
• Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, equipment, and techniques used in clinical laboratory work.
• Knowledge of local regulations, standards, guidelines and requirements of a clinical reference laboratory.
• Analytical thinking and good communication skills.
• Knowledge in the operations and workflow of a medical laboratory.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools is essential.
• Good organization and planning skills.

Provide professional face & body treatments to customers eg facials, body contouring treatments

Promote medical procedures and skin care products to customers

Build and establish good customer relationships

Drive sales for the company as a whole

Assist in handling reception duties, attend to customers’ queries

Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager/Company
