1.Daily Operational Reporting
Generate, review, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to credit card transaction volumes, financial performance, and other OKRs.
Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of all reporting outputs.
Collaborate with different departments to customize reports to meet operational needs.
2. Data Extraction for Business Operations
Use SQL or other query tools to extract data as needed for ad-hoc analysis,performance tracking, and business operations.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, design queries, and ensure data integrity.
Identify data trends and provide recommendations based on analysis.
3. Audit and Compliance Support
Support internal and external audit activities by retrieving and validating required datasets.
Document data sources, extraction methodologies, and calculations to ensure data transparency.
Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure data reporting aligns with regulatory requirements.
4. Data Management and Quality Assurance
Conduct regular quality checks on datasets and reports to ensure consistency andaccuracy.
Participate in data cleansing and enrichment initiatives to improve data quality.
Maintain data documentation and ensure adherence to data governance policies.
5. Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate data processes and reporting workflows.
Develop and enhance analytical tools and dashboards to support decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics for financial services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the financial or credit card industry.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with audit processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Understanding of credit card operations and financial transaction data.
Experience with statistical tools (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm) + Saturday (9am to 2pm)
