Responsibilities

- Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of risk control systems.

- Collaborate with product managers and cross functional teams to identify and prioritize fraud detection and prevention initiatives.

- Evaluate existing risk control processes and technologies, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

- Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance fraud prevention capabilities.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

- Define the long-term technical roadmap for the team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related discipline.

- 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on risk control or anti-fraud solutions.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.

- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working on risk control or anti-fraud solutions in the e-commerce industry.

- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture

What is your mission?

You’ll help us deliver excellent service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Contacting new and existing clients (Agencies or Advertisers) via telephone, chat and email on a daily basis, identifying sales opportunities and providing these businesses with the best solution for their business goal.
• Improve client’s experience by driving optimal and appropriate product adoption. Manage a portfolio (book of clients) of SMB clients with responsibility for growing revenue.

The BBC Studios Digital Ad Operations team form part of a large Product, Technology and Operational division and are responsible for the fulfilment of all direct advertising activity as well supporting the successful delivery of deal-based programmatic revenues. The Regional Head of Digital Ad Operations (APAC) manages a team of digital experts and traffickers that will be based out of the regional hub offices in India & Singapore. The role operates in a complex Ad Operations businesses, is focused on sales enablement, manages highly technically skilled teams and is a key operational appointment reporting into the Global Head of Digital Ad Operations based in London.

Summary of the key responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of all ad ops campaigns sourced in the APAC region, including but not limited to quality control, trafficking, troubleshooting, reporting, optimization, capacity planning and management and accurate billing.
