About you

You are a technically strong self-starter with an ability to demonstrate excellent commercial sense and ability to build relationships. Creativity, curiosity balanced with pragmatism are desirable attitudes.

You enjoy collaborating with your colleagues and can also work independently. Your preference is to be part of an international and multicultural environment, handling diverse tasks, yet always ready to support the team and meet the business needs. Moreover, you have the following background, skills and mindset:

· Actuary or highly numerate background, and demonstrated business development experience

· At least 5-7 years’ experience in life re/insurance, with a proven track record of developing client relationships in Australia and New Zealand

· Strong knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand retail/primary insurance markets, group markets, financial solutions and regulatory environment

· A strong balance of technical excellence and commercial sense

· Exposure to large insurance or reinsurance transactions

· Strong communicator externally with clients and internal stakeholders

· Travel to Australia and New Zealand for client meetings, industry events etc. will be required.
